butter LONDON Loverly Patent Shine polish
When I learned that butter LONDON had a new formula out, I was a goner. I knew one would be in my shopping cart soon, it was just a matter of which one. The colors in the Patent Shine 10X formula aren’t really unusual. Most of the 14 shades are pretty classic with a few pops of brighter shades.
The reason it’s called 10X is because of the claims that butter LONDON makes:
New 10-in-1 formula! Sophisticated, long-wearing shades proven to promote brighter, strong, healthier nails.
Why It’s Brill:
1. Long-wear for up to 10 days
2. Shock absorbing & chip-resistant
3. Salon colour coverage
4. Gel-like cushion and superior shine
5. Fade-resistant colour
6. Formulated to smooth nails
7. Formulated to Strengthen nails
8. Prevents breakage and peeling
9. Visibly brighter, more radiant nails
10. No formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, DBP, toluene, camphor, ethyl tosylamide, or xylene

What’s truly unusual about these polishes is that they are 7 Free. We are always reading about 3 Free and 5 Free but there are only a few brands that are 7 free – no formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, DBP, toluene, camphor, ethyl tosylamide, or xylene.
The wear and shine is compared to gel polishes although you don’t need special lights or top coat for these. I wear most polishes for 7 days and rarely have any chipping. Loverly wore like butter LONDON always does on me. It always lasts, it always is shiny and it’s always a brand I love wearing.

LOVERLY is described as an opaque bubblegum pink cream and that’s exactly what it looks like.
The price has been raised from $15 for a typical BL polish to $18 for Patent Shine 10X. I don’t really know if it is worth the extra $3 personally but I’ve been craving more pink in my nail polish wardrobe so I’m happy with my purchase. It appears that the butterLONDON site has most of these “on holiday” but you can find these at Ulta and Beauty.com.
Have you tried this formula? Are you craving one of these polishes like I was? — Marcia
