“Under the radar” goodness: ACEQUIA Body Care

Nothing cheers me up like a big huge basket of body care goodness, especially when it’s from a line I haven’t tried yet. This beautiful basket of ACEQUIA Body Care  was sent to me to test and I couldn’t stop smiling.

ACEQUIA Body Care

ACEQUIA Body Care

ACEQUIA Body Care, a new kid on the beauty scene block, features products that are paleo-friendly, made with pure plant extracts and essential nutrients. The focus is ‘luxury as nature intended’ and you can choose from four fragrances for women –  Clasico (lavender, eucalyptus, Mediterranean fig), Esencia (gardenia, tuberose, white pear, jasmine), Fresco (sweet almond, bergamot, freshly ground ginger), Jardin (basil leaves, summer sage, peppermint sprigs, citrus zest), and two for men – Patrón (black pepper, coriander, patchouli and basil) and Granada (tobacco flower).

The goal is to moisturize and vitalize skin without the use of chemicals or harmful additives. All ACEQUIA products are made in small batches in America. They have no sulfates (SLS), parabens, surficants, mineral oil or petroleum byproducts, harsh chemicals or detergents. ACEQUIA products are never tested on animals. This environmentally responsible line also packages everything in recyclable materials.

Here is what I found inside the basket:

ACEQUIA Body Care Luxe Body Wash

ACEQUIA Body Care Luxe Body Wash

  • Luxe Body Wash ($20), a swoon-worthy indulgence of hydrating Coconut and Sweet Almond oils, Shea Butter and Silk protein to soothe, smooth and nurture soft, radiant skin

This is a very interesting body wash…it pours out like water, so be careful not to use too much! The cleanser is gentle and very hydrating, and the Esencia fragrance is soft and feminine.

ACEQUIA Body Care Skin Nourishment Lotion

ACEQUIA Body Care Skin Nourishment Lotion

  • Skin Nourishment Lotion($18), a emollient-rich antidote to parched skin, loaded with Jojoba, Meadowfoam and Sunflower Oils, enhanced with Vitamins C and E, Goat Milk and Aloe Vera to moisturize, nourish and delicately scent skin with no greasy residue

What a beautiful body lotion! It’s creamy and light, but it packs a moisturizing punch. The Granada scent is pleasantly spicy and is definitely unisex.

ACEQUIA Body Care Mineral Salt Scrub

ACEQUIA Body Care Sugarcream Scrub

ACEQUIA Body Care Sugarcream Scrub

  • Buff Body Scrubs($18), our newest additions to the ACEQUIA family come in two bespoke formulas to perfectly buff away dry, dull skin and promote anti-aging collagen production. These exfoliating must-haves banish surface imperfections like blocked pores, fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.

I can’t decide which one I like more – the sea salt and aloe vera Mineral Salt Scrub or the brown sugar/sunflower and grapeseed oil Sugarcream Scrub. They both leave skin ultra soft and ultra moisturized. They are great for prepping skin for self tanner or for softening hands after lots of gardening.

ACEQUIA Body Care Natural Castile Hand Soap

ACEQUIA Body Care Natural Castile Hand Soap

  • Natural Castile Soap($14), a blend of Olive and Coconut oils creates a gentle cleanser that prevents the loss of skin’s natural moisture

This is a terrific hand soap that is great for the kitchen or the bathroom. I especially love the fresh Jardin fragrance, which is a combination of basil, sage, peppermint and citrus.

ACEQUIA Body Care Travel Tote

ACEQUIA Body Care Travel Tote

A really great buy is the ACEQUIA Body Care Travel Tote ($12), which has TSA-friendly sizes of the Castile Hand Soap, Skin Nourishment Lotion, and Luxe Body Wash in a clear vinyl snap tote. You can choose from any of the six fragrances.

ACEQUIA is a beautiful and affordable line with great values and integrity.  I love the products and I love what this company stands for.  If you are looking for an animal and planet friendly body care line, I hope you will take a look at ASEQUIA!
