Look Good Feel Better – BCA message

Beauty Info Zone has shown you several ways to help raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness in the past week and we want to continue to share. BCA is not just for October. It’s something we need to be aware of all year long. If you are or you know a cancer patient then you know that there are devastating side effects of the treatments. Look Good Feel Better is an organization that has workshops to help patients regain their self-confidence and focus on not just being a cancer patient but becoming a cancer survivor instead.

OUR MISSION: Look Good Feel Better is dedicated to improving the self-esteem and quality of life of people undergoing treatment for cancer. It is our aim to improve their self-image and appearance through complimentary group, individual, and self-help beauty sessions that create a sense of support, confidence, courage, and community.

Workshops are free and they are available in all 50 states. They offer cosmetic advice as well as hair advice and styling advice. They know that if you look good then you are working on your way to feeling good too. Attitude is so important in this fight.

By going to the Look Good Feel Better site you can find out about all the programs, make donations, find beauty guides and learn how to become involved.  Beauty Info Zone wants to encourage you to go to this site and to share it with others. You can also learn more about them on their facebook page or on Twitter. This organization has been helping people for 23 years and we want to spread the word so that more and more people are aware of it. We never know when something can strike.

Thank you for reading and taking the time to learn more. – Marcia and Lisa

*Beauty Info Zone will receive a sample for posting this, this doesn’t affect how strongly we feel about this organization since we didn’t need the encouragement to share something this important.
