Are you sick of us complaining about winter? We’re pretty sick of complaining and we’re sick of winter but luckily there are a few products that want to help us get through more easily. One of the latest I’ve been using is derma e Vitamin E Intensive Therapy Body Balm. When I was sent this big jar to try out I was just finishing up a lotion so the timing was great. We’ve reviewed several derma e products before and have always enjoyed them so I knew I was in for a treat with this body balm.
The derma e Vitamin E Intensive Therapy Body Balm is especially formulated to help with dry, dehydrated skin. It’s an extremely rich formula that is creamy enough to spread easily on your body. I massage a small amount onto each leg and it’s banished my dry skin. It’s not greasy so it doesn’t leave a layer of cream on my skin nor do I have to wait long to put on a pair of pants. The reason I only use this on my legs though is that it’s not fragrance free. It has an herbal scent that I notice enough that I don’t want to use it on my upper body but I doubt others would feel that way. It’s just my sensitivities to smell.
Because it’s so rich I want the goodness of it to help my lower body out. It’s terrific on ankles and on elbows. Anywhere you have rough, hardened skin that needs relief, this body balm can work its wonders. According to derma e “full-spectrum Vitamin E is able to restore and maintain skin’s natural barrier function, helping it regain its natural ability to lock in moisture and defend itself against elemental stress.”
derma e Vitamin E Intensive Therapy Body Balm is highly concentrated so it helps with the toughest problems. And look at all the goodness about this product: 100% vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, gluten-free, GMO-free, phthalate-free, petrolatum-free, lanolin-free.
- High antioxidant Tocopherols plus Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta Tocotrienols (natural Vitamin E) are distinguished for their superior antioxidant defense against environmental aggressors
- Hyaluronic Acid, Green Tea, plus Essential Fatty Acids from Cranberry Seed Oil, Olive and Jojoba deliver nutrient-rich moisture, restoring skin to a healthy looking state.
The MSP is $15 for the 6.7 oz jar but I’ve seen it for less online. At Vitacost there’s a fragrance free tube that’s 8 oz and only $9.09 while this jar is $10.59. At Amazon the jar is $8.49. When my jar is finished up I’ll be purchasing the fragrance free one for sure.
If you are tired of what winter has done to your skin it’s time to check out this body balm option. Another winning product from derma e. Keep them coming!! — Marcia
