Treat every day as Sun Day with elina organics

Fall is a tricky time of the year since we never quite know if we’re going to get the last vistages of summer or we’re going to get the beginnings of winter. The sun isn’t visible as long, the leaves are turning, and we’re thinking about getting cozy in most parts of the US. BUT that doesn’t mean we can slip slide away from taking care of our skin and forget about sunscreen.

Sunscreen is vital 365 days a year. We aren’t always aware of how much sun we’re getting. Take sitting in the kitchen with a meal, reading at the table with a cup of coffee or tea, going out and picking up the newspaper. All of those are instances you overlook when it comes to sun exposure.

must haves: mask, hand sanitizer, Elina Organics Sun Day SPF

Call me old fashioned but I love to sit with my breakfast and my local paper in the morning. Meanwhile the sun is hopefully out and cheering me up, getting me ready to start a new day. My dog at my feet, hoping I’ll drop something, will soon need to go outside. These are reasons I start my day with sunscreen. I am 100% a sunscreen fanatic. And I want you to be also.

The newest sunscreen that I’m here to recommend to you is by Elina Organics, a brand that I’ve admired for several years now. SUN DAY, their 100% natural sunscreen for face & body, is now available on Amazon. There’s just so much to admire about this sunscreen.

elina organics SUN DAY 100% Natural sunscreen

It’s a broad spectrum product with UVA/UVB protection that is reef-safe, has organic ingredients, and is biodegradable. It contains non-nano Zinc Oxide. “The benefit of nanozinc is that the particles absorb UV light and scatter visible light, providing greater SPF – while slightly larger Nonnano particles offer greater UVA protection – so the combination delivers a high SPF rating along with UVA protection. Using nonnano zinc oxide powder with your favorite lotion is a wonderful, natural, and healthy alternative for sun protection.”

elina organics Sun Day SPF35

With SPF35 and no fragrance this quickly became a favorite sunscreen of mine. It feels smooth on my skin, doesn’t interfere with foundation if I choose to wear one, and helps my skin avoid the issues of aging that the sun sadly provides. My favorite use though is for my arms and chest since it’s a thicker SPF product than most I use.

The owner, Elina Fedotova has this to say: “As a holistic and organic formulator, I have always used natural and unprocessed Zinc Oxide. Zinc Oxide continues be the safest and most effective sun screening ingredient. It helps to protect our skin from UVA and UVB rays.” explains Elina Fedotova, cosmetic chemist, celebrity esthetician and founder of Elina Organics. “When you are looking for really safe sunscreen with Zinc Oxide, I would suggest to choose one that has a minimum of 20% Zinc Oxide to achieve good broad-spectrum protection from UVA and UVB rays (sun damage). This new launch has 25%!”

A sunscreen is vital and using eco-friendly elina organics’ Sun Day is helping you and the earth. — Marcia

I’m so pale compared to normal this year! Usually I would have a nice summer tan, so def will have to be extra careful in the sun when I can get back out to the beach!

I loooooooove your BeautyInfoZone mask! How cool is that?! Also, I am impressed by your photos that show how amazingly well the white zinc oxide blended in and completely disappeared. Looks like great stuff!

I love your mask, so cute!!! I will admit, this time of year I tend to neglect my sunscreen regime. I go into work before the sun is up and leave after the sun is down. I need to be sure to make a habit of using on the weekends though.

I’ve been bad about sunscreen the past 6 years because I haven’t had a window in my office! But I know it’s super important especially now.

I need to pick this up! Starting to run a little low on sunscreen!
