The party continues with MyCHELLE Enhancing CBD Serum!

To celebrate their 20 year anniversary as the original innovator of the clean skin movement, MyCHELLE Dermaceuticals has debuted a modern brand redesign that celebrates “Power from Within”, plus they are introducing new products in the CBD/Beauty category. Yesterday I reviewed the wonderful Enhancing CBD Lip Balm and today I have all the goods on the Enhancing CBD Serum.

MyCHELLE’s new CBD-based skin care line was supposed to be released this month but with the pandemic the plans have shifted a bit –  the CBD products will be available in late May/early June on shelves at Whole Foods. The new MyCHELLE Dermaceutical CBD products feature hemp-derived CBD, exotic botanical oils, and potent antioxidants and are in the new ENHANCE collection. MyCHELLE is a long-standing innovator in CBD skincare and is honored to have received the prestigious Clean Label Project® Antioxidant Superiority Award for its Enhance CBD Lotion. Additionally, MyCHELLE received the Clean Label Project Purity Award for Enhance CBD Serum, Enhance CBD Lip Balm, and Enhance CBD Rinse-Free Wash.

The Enhancing CBD Serum is a hybrid oil-based serum that features 300 mg Broad-spectrum Cannabidiol Oil, Marula Oil and Marshmallow Root Extract to hydrate, refine and brighten the appearance of the skin. There are some very good reasons why CBD is the ingredient du jour these days. Cannabidiol oil is incredible for calming inflammation, and inflamed skin means that healthy skin is breaking down.

As for how CBD oil works, let’s just say it has excellent communication skills. Skin has specific receptor sites that CBD communicates with and the CBD tells the skin to stop freaking out. The skin listens and calms down, which reduces inflammation and results in healthy skin. So basically, CBD is this awesome mediator who steps in between skin and the progression of damage, convincing skin to stay calm which stops the damage in its tracks. CBD is one heck of an antioxidant, similar to vitamin C. Plus, according to scientific research CBD also plays a role in reducing oily skin.

The Enhancing CBD Serum is a light serum that is easily mixed with other skin care products. It needs to be shaken before use and it has a fragrance that reminds of the air at concerts in the ’80’s when sitting on the hill just outside the main amphitheater…and no, I’m not talking about the smell of beer. I’m talking about that other smell! It dissipates as soon as the serum is applied, so no worries, you won’t be walking around smelling like bong water.

The Enhancing CBD Serum is a fantastic choice because it not only is made under MyCHELLE’s incredibly high standards for their CBD products, but it also is made without any parabens, petroleum, phthalates, silicones, sulfates, ureas, artificial fragrances, or artificial colors. It is a fantastic option for working CBD into your skin care routine, and based on all the research you really should add this amazing ingredient to your arsenal. Like the Enhancing CBD Lip Balm I reviewed HERE, the Enhancing CBD Serum is not available online at this time although you can see the info page on the MyCHELLE website HERE. You will be able to find it at Whole Foods in late May or early June.  Once the Enhancing CBD Serum arrives at the store be sure to put it in your basket – your skin will be thrilled to listen to it.  – Lisa

I snorted my tea at my phone when you talked about “those concerts” lol. Glad to hear this doesn’t smell like bong water because I need to try this! Mychelle has gotten my attention the last few years and love the new innovations in skincare.

I haven’t tried a CBD product yet, but I’ve tried and liked other MyChelle products, so this might be my “gateway.” (Cracking up over the 80’s concert memories. Ah yes…)
