The best source for do-it-yourself beauty products: Mary Tylor Naturals

This post may be a little premature, but I am just so excited about some products I was sent by Mary Tylor Naturals that I had to share! Mary Tylor Naturals has natural, organic skin care and body care ingredients that you can buy to make your own skin care products. How fun is that?? I can’t wait to dig in! Here’s a quick peak at what I was sent:Mary Tylor Naturals Organic BeeswaxMary Tylor Naturals Organic BeeswaxMary Tylor Naturals Organic Beeswax

I was sent two kinds of Organic Beeswax – small yellow pastilles and a Beeswax Bar. Because the size is small there is no need to cut the beeswax, and it’s great for making skin care products, lotions, candles, and even furniture polish! Organic beeswax has lots of Vitamin A and it is sooo good for skin.

Mary Tylor Naturals Organic Cocoa Butter

I wish you could smell this bar of Raw, Organic Cocoa Butter. It smells like chocolate and it’s actually food grade so you can eat it if you want. I just might try some in food recipes as well as body product recipes.Mary Tylor Naturals Organic BeeswaxMary Tylor Naturals Organic Shea Butter

Check out this incredible hunk of Shea Butter! I am totally geeked! Shea butter is wonderful stuff, and it makes a fantastic lip balm. I am going to have so much fun with this. Unrefined Shea butter is just full of vitamin A, E and F as well as antioxidants, fatty acids and minerals.

Mary Tylor Naturals Organic Black African Soap

I was sent one bar of Organic African Black Soap. It isn’t easy to find this sort of soap in its pure form without lots of added chemicals. It has a high level of shea butter, which makes it very moisturizing. It can be used for so many things – it works for washing your face, your body, and your hair. It’s amazing for eczema and acne.

Mary Tylor Naturals Lip Balm Containers

I was also sent these little lip balm containers…now I need to investigate to find some recipes for all my new goodies and see what I can create!

Quite a few of the Mary Tylor Naturals products are Kosher Certified. There are all sorts of sizes available so if you just want to dabble in creating your own products, this is a perfect resource for high quality, cosmetics grade ingredients.

I am so excited to start making my own concoctions!! What would you make with these ingredients??  – Lisa
