The answer for puffy eyes? John Masters Organics Firming Eye Gel

A great eye cream is a real treasure – I am always looking for one that does it all.  I want something that will take away puffiness when it’s a problem.  I want something that will moisturize under my eyes but won’t be greasy or give me milia.  I want something that brightens up my dark undereye circles and softens those fine lines.  Am I asking for too much??

John Masters Organics doesn’t seem to think so.  Their Firming Eye Gel ($30) promises to do all the things on my eye cream wish list.  The Firming Eye Gel isn’t a cream, it’s a gel, which actually makes for a great puffy eye treatment especially since I store this in the refrigerator.  What a treat – since it’s nice and cool, it soothes eye bags and gives immediate gratification.  Of course, my fridge is only a few steps away from my bathroom, so it’s convenient for me – it may be a little different for you!  I can assure you the results are totally worth it.

The packaging is perfect for this eye gel.  The dark glass keeps the light out and keeps the efficacy of the ingredients.  The cap locks which helps keeps the product in so no worry about spills, too.  The main ingredients include: oat kernel – helps to visibly firm, sooth and revitalize the eye area; rye – helps to firm skin’s appearance; spirulina – rich in essential fatty acids and nourishes the skin.

This eye gel has four main jobs to accomplish, including perfect hydration for the eye area; firms, heals and protects against environmental pollutants; helps repair free radical damage; healing and anti-inflammatory properties help reduce puffiness of tired eyes.

I find that the eye gel sinks in quickly and hydrates beautifully, and it definitely seems to help with dark undereye circles.  My only complaint is that it does have a slight rose scent, although it’s not pronounced and it does dissipate quickly.

The John Masters Organic Firming Eye Gel is a wonderful option, particularly if you have issues with puffiness or dark undereye circles.  You can find John Masters Organics at Dermstore, and right now they have a special – save 20% off your order with the code NATURAL.  Happy shopping!  – Lisa

I like the idea of using a gel. I’m using a serum currently, but this seems great for puffy eyes, especially when its chilled in the fridge!

I like the idea of a gel! A lot of creams I’ve tried have left weird residues. I’ve been using It Cosmetics Confidence In A Cream Eye Cream and although it hydrates, I haven’t noticed a difference in my dark underye circles. I like that you can keep this in the fridge, as well. Probably super refreshing in the morning!

Oh now I know exactly what I need – a bathroom fridge! You gave me an idea. My bathroom is as far from the fridge as it could possibly be so I never bother to cool my skincare. A mini fridge would do it.

Puffy eyes has just became my new feature! LOL. I definitely need something as all the concealer in the world isn’t covering it up. This is interesting – gotta check it out!

I’m so bad with being consistent with using eye products. I’ve only recently gotten back into the routine of using an eye cream. I may have to try a gel next time!

This sounds like a great product, although sadly I can’t use it because of the glycerin.

I don’t think I’ve ever used a gel product for under the eyes. This sounds like a nice option.

  20. Yvette Price | 30th Apr 18

I was there until I read Rose, products with rose in it react badly with my skin. Does the product reduce the puffiness and lighten dark circles?

  21. Julie Waldron | 8th May 18

I’ve tried so many different products for under eye puffiness, I will have to put my current one in the refrigerator to see if it helps. That’s a great idea! This sounds like a great product.
