Rebel against the black elastic with By Lilla!

By Lilla Peacock Stack

Let’s see a show of hands – how many of you wear your hair elastics around your wrist like a bracelet so you can quickly whip your locks into a pony whenever the mood strikes? Yeah, I know…me too. Why not make that nondescript…or dare I say UGLY…black elastic something beautiful and functional?? That’s what By Lilla is all about! I am really digging the gorgeous Peacock Stack, one of many fabulous options By Lilla has for rebelling against the black elastic, their company mission to change the world one beautiful hair tie at a time.

My Peacock Stack is one of 15 beautiful stacks available that range from classic black to funky fun multi-colored stacks. You can wear just one of the elastics or all of them, whatever you’d like. I like to wear the whole stack then choose a few to use as a hair tie, and mix those up depending on my mood. Each stack has between six and eight elastics. They are fun and functional, wear well, keep hair in place and look great!

I think these are so much fun and are so much more stylish than those boring black elastics. By Lilla has other cool products like rings that you can also use at the end of your braids. Plus, they have a subscription box option which is five curated hair ties for $14 a month, and the price goes down if you purchase more months. You’ve got to check out the By Lilla website at bylilla.com and see what sort of bling tickles your fancy.  Have fun!  – Lisa

I wear them on my wrist also. These are really pretty!

  2. I didn’t know they had hair ties. I own some of their hair clips, and love them to bits – they make some very pretty products! These beat wearing black hair ties on the wrist.

  3. Lacquerexpression says:

I love these and they are definitely much nicer looking than the black ones I always wear!

  4. Jen Walker says:

This is such a great idea! My hair is too short to really wear any kind of pony tail right now, but I’ll have to keep these in mind if I ever decide to grow it out again.

  5. Kathryne says:

Cute idea! My fear is to lose these nice hair ties just because I lost count already, they seem to magically disappear!

  6. Those are super cute! I always have either a stretched out black hair tie or an Invisibobble on my wrist. These are so much better

  7. I think these are adorable! I would love to see if I could get some hairbands like this! <3

  8. These are super cute!

  9. LINDSEY TANBERG says:

I utilize a ponytail holder bracelet to turn function to fashion. These are beautiful and are an awesome balance of the two.

  10. These are seriously the cutest hair ties!

  11. 25 Sweetpeas says:

I always have something right next to my fit bit. These are pretty versions! I’ve been using that DIY kind with the flat elastic that doesn’t make as many hair dents and also isn’t tight on wrist!

  12. These are super cute!

  13. These look super fun! And cute in the wrists too! That’s a definite bonus!

  14. These are so dang cute! I’d totally wear them!

  15. My Nail Polish Obsession says:

I would wear those as bracelets but not as hair ties. I feel like they’d get tangled up and the doohickeys would cause breakage.

  16. LittleNuclearReactor says:

How cute! I’m currently wearing my plain black hair tie on my writst haha. It lives there on standby until I need to throw my hair up and returns when I decide I’m tired of having my hair tied up lol

  17. Madhubani says:

I love staking up bands on my wrist.. and glad to see that i am not the only one.. 😛 These are so colorful, quirky and fun..

  18. I love stacking bracelets. You have quite the arm party!

  19. Diane M Gooding says:

Oh my gosh. I always had a hair elastic on my wrist. My hair was to my waist and always ended up in elastic at the end of the day. Unfortunately I lost my hair to chemo last year, and it is now growing back, but still very short. I will treat myself to these one day though.

  20. Kristina | The Feminine Files says:

These are so cute and I love that they can double as a fashion item when on your wrist!

  21. I’d definitely be all for wearing them as bracelets, even more so than hair ties
