Radha Beauty Skincare – a big WOW from Beauty Info Zone!

We were introduced to Radha Beauty several months ago when they gifted us with two of their skincare items. In talking with each other both Lisa and Marcia have marveled at how great this skincare is. Usually we each pick one of the products to review, but this time we decided to each review both and share our love for this extraordinary brand.

MARCIA’S REVIEW

Serums are my favorite skincare item and over the 10 years of Beauty Info Zone I’ve written about dozens. I’ve found some absolutely wonderful ones but at the moment I can’t imagine anything better than Radha Beauty’s Vitamin C Serum. You can not beat the price of this – $11.95 for 1 oz or $13.95 for 2 oz. That blows me away. Second I think the fragrance of this is the most natural and delicious I’ve found in a vitamin C product. It’s like someone just squeezed a fresh juicy orange for me.

Vitamin C helps minimize fine lines and wrinkles but even better it helps reduce the look of age spots and discoloration. Now if you choose to use this during the day be sure you follow with a sunscreen since your skin becomes more sensitive to the sun with this vitamin. It has everything I want though with both 20% Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid.

Radha Beauty Miracle Retinol Moisturizer (just $18.95) took me by surprise. I don’t normally use a retinol product though I have tried and enjoyed some but Radha Beauty has made me a believer. This is truly a gentle effective moisturizer. It contains 2.5% active Retinol, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E and Green Tea. I detect no fragrance with this making me a very happy believer. And the delivery system is wonderful with its air tight top.

I’m loving how my skin is reacting to these Radha Beauty products and can’t wait to investigate the line further. Big WOW from me.

LISA’S REVIEW:

I was excited yet skeptical about my Radha Beauty’s Vitamin C Serum. Excited because it has two of my favorite skin care ingredients – Vitamin C (a whopping 20% of it – most serums max out at 15%) and hyaluronic acid. Skeptical because I thought, how could a $12 serum be that great?

Well, this $12 is great for lots of reasons! First of all, the ingredients are two of the most effective on the market. Stable Vitamin C reduces signs of aging, brightens and evens out skin tone, and restores skin to a more youthful appearance. Radha Beauty uses pure vegan hyaluronic acid and this ingredient plumps the skin which minimizes fine lines and wrinkles.Hyaluronic acid restores skin by increasing the skin’s moisture content and helping skin retain moisture. Like Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid is a fabulous antioxidant that protects skin from free radicals in the environment.

I like that the Vitamin C Serum isn’t sticky or oily, a problem with many vitamin C serums.  Since it is so lightweight it doesn’t irritate my skin or clog my pores. I actually don’t smell much with this serum…it has an extremely light citrus scent that I find almost undetectable. The Vitamin C Serum is so inexpensive I don’t hesitate to use it other places besides my face, like my neck and decolletage.

By the way, Radha Beauty does their packaging right — to maintain efficacy, antioxidants need to be housed in opaque tubes, air-restrictive bottles, or pumps in order to ensure the ingredients stay stable. The packaging is just one of the reasons I am equally impressed with the Radha Beauty Miracle Retinol Moisturizer.

My skin has always reacted well to retinol (Vitamin A), which is a fantastic workhorse of an ingredient.  It smooths wrinkles, firms skin, and helps restore skin health as an antioxidant. I was worried that I might have some issues with milia and acne since one of the ingredients is shea butter, which my body loves but my face usually doesn’t.  However, after a few weeks I found myself thinking, wow…my skin is so soft and so hydrated, and I haven’t had a single break out! The container is my favorite for creams – it keeps the product safe from contamination and pressing the top dispenses the perfect amount for application to my face and neck.

You can find both of these Radha Beauty products – as well as a slew of other incredibly priced skin care goodies – online at radhabeauty.com…we are sure you will also say WOW!

I started hearing about retinol only recently, but now that I’m onto it I’m of course noticing it being mentioned more frequently. These products look great, and very reasonably priced. Thank you for featuring them!
