Pixi Skintreats Clarity Collection

Pixi Skintreats has created a new collection of skincare. It may seem like they have brought out a lot lately but that’s because they want to be sure that they meet the needs of every type of skin. One area that they felt needed filling in is a collection that is not only good for all skin types but is especially suited for those with oily skin or problematic skin.

Meet CLARITY – 4 products that contain Glycolic and Lactic Acid, Probiotics and soothing Aloe. Those ingredients work with Salicylic Acid with the goal of purifying, balancing, and helping to minimize the look of pores.

Beauty Info Zone has been gifted the 4 products and will be sharing them together so you can understand exactly why Pixi has created another winner. Let’s get to clarity.

LISA IS LOVING CLARITY CLEANSER AND CLARITY TONIC

Who doesn’t need a little more clarity in their life? I’m always looking for more in every way – but particularly in terms of my complexion. Wearing a mask makes me break out, and having to battle both acne and wrinkles is like the universe is playing a prank on me. Luckily, Pixi Beauty has two new products that make this fight an easy one to win.

Pixi Beauty Clarity Cleanser ($18.00), the first step in a cleansing routine, is a stand out clarifying cleanser that clears up breakouts and keeps them from coming back. The Clarifying Cleanser is a light cleanser that washes away dirt, grime, and makeup while also tackling congested pores. It’s also hydrating so even though it’s a clarifier, it doesn’t dry out skin. I’m not sure how it would work for someone with deep, cystic acne, but those who have small breakouts from wearing a mask, or from working out, or from a dirty, sweaty day working in the garden will love it.

The ingredients are proven acne fighters:
A powerful trio of Salicylic, Lactic and Glycolic Acids helps refresh and exfoliate while probiotics balance and preserve.
• Deep cleans to help minimize breakouts.
• Purifies while rehydrating.
• Gentle and effective even on the most problematic complexions.
• Suitable for all skin types
• Paraben-free
• Not tested on animals

Because this cleanser has AHA’s, be sure to use an SPF to protect your skin from UVA/UVB rays! I am loving the effect this cleanser has on my skin. The salicylic acid unclogs pores and helps reduce pore size, and the glycolic acid exfoliates away dead skin cells. Lactic acid is a great detoxifier. While those products clarify skin, the probiotics help repair while aloe hydrates. It’s a terrific combination.

I am a big fan of toners in general, and Clarity Tonic ($29.00), the second step in a cleansing routine, is an excellent option. I always like to tone after cleansing because it grabs any dirt or makeup that I may have missed, and a good toner continues the treatment that my cleanser started.

Pixi Beauty’s Clarifying Toner is alcohol and paraben-free, and it continues the clarifying mission of clear skin. This toner has glycolic and lactic acids that finish exfoliating and sweep away dead skin cells. It also has salicylic acid for unclogging pores and reducing their size. Like the cleanser, the toner has probiotics to help heal skin and aloe for hydration.

Even though you typically only cleanse your face, it’s a great idea to use your toner on your face as well as your neck and décolletage. You will be amazed at what this toner picks up! Steps one and two from Pixi are terrific – let’s see what Marcia thinks about the remaining steps for getting some clarity.

MARCIA IS ENJOYING CLARITY CONCENTRATE AND CLARITY LOTION

Pixi Clarity Lotion and Concentrate

My first hurrah is that these two Clarity products are fragrance free. Even though I’m a fan of Skintreats items I often find them too fragranced for my personal taste. Imagine my glee when I started using these two and noticed no aroma. It’s like Pixi is talking to me.

CLARITY CONCENTRATE is a water based serum that contains Salicylic Acid and Probiotics. What makes these important is that the Salicylic Acid is a pore purifier. As someone who gets clogged pores often this is a hero ingredient for me. With Lactic Acid helping to exfoliate the Probiotics help to preserve and balance the ingredients.

Pixi Clarity Concentrate serum

With just 2 to 3 drops you have enough for your entire face. It applies smoothly and comfortably, not sticky at all. Definitely one I’ll continue to use especially if my skin starts acting up.

Pixi Clarity Concentrate

The other Clarity product I’m using is CLARITY LOTION. Now this has ingredients that I was sure were going to have fragrance. Willow Bark Extract is excellent for clearing and reducing pores. Ceramide NP provides time release moisture so it’s working all night to help you wake up with better skin. And Kaolin is an oil absorbing ingredient that will help mattify your skin. No fragrance!

Pixi Skintreats Clarity Lotion

I prefer to use this as a night lotion since I find it a little sticky. That isn’t a problem at night but I’m a face toucher so it isn’t ideal for me during the day. I think your mileage would differ though since my skin is on the dry side. This lightweight moisturizer works well on my skin in this warm weather.

Though this collection isn’t specifically for me, it is a perfect addition to their lineup. Pixi definitely has something or more than one something for everyone. An excellent brand!

I agree. They have launched a lot of line lately. I’m still trying their milk, next is the retinol. The color blue for this line makes it relaxing to me
