Osmosis has masks that stimulate your senses while making your skin look its very best

Don’t let the plain white jar fool you into thinking that nothing special lies within. Once opened you happen upon a sensory experience that will make you sing.

OSMOSIS Tropical Mango Barrier Recovery Mask

What awaits you is the most scrumptious smelling mask from Osmosis, the Tropical Mango Barrier Recovery Mask. It’s the kind of mask that you don’t want to wash off since the smell is so intoxicating. While that’s not all this mask is, it sure starts your experience off on the right foot face.

OSMOSIS Tropical Mango Barrier Recovery Mask

As a person who doesn’t care for most fragranced products it’s the complete opposite for this mask. I don’t like the taste of mango but I sure do love the smell.

This mask is great for so many skin types and conditions like Psoriasis, Dryness and Dehydration, Free Radical Damage, Eczema, and Rosacea. It’s gently hydrating due to the jojoba oil, shea butter, and olive oil in its formula.

Key Ingredients:

  • Mango Seed Butter: hydrates, regenerates, sun protective properties and rich in antioxidants
  • Amazonian Fruit Butter: high content of essential fatty acids and Vitamin A, repairs damage, soothes and heals
  • Organic Bladderwrack Extract: rich in calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, sulfer, silicon, iron and high in some B-Complex vitamins, carotene and zeaxanthin, improves elasticity
  • Sea Buckthorn Oil: high fatty acid content, natural source of Vitamins A and E, carotenes and flavonoids

You can use this the way you always use a mask – slather it on, sit back and relax while it goes to work to make your skin look replenished. It’s creamy and is said to restore the skin’s lipid barrier.

OSMOSIS Tropical Mango Barrier Recovery Mask

You can also use this in a more spa type manner which is what Osmosis recommends: Apply a thin amount to skin, massaging for 2-3 minutes (if product becomes tacky before 2-3 minutes apply Clear x 1 pump to allow for massage). Apply a warm towel to skin and without applying pressure, allow it to remain on skin until lukewarm in temperature. Gently lift and remove the towel without wiping skin and massage mask for an additional 1 minute. Use towel to gently remove any excess.

If you use it like a regular mask it never quite hardens though after about 15 minutes it does make your face feel taut. I usually use it this way since I’m a creature of habit. I wash it off with a washcloth and find soft, more hydrated skin. The Osmosis way is a little quicker but takes more steps. Either way you’ll love that sensory experience that brings your skin some harmony.

OSMOSIS Tropical Mango Barrier Recovery Mask and Polish Enzyme Firming Mask

Now for a mask that is on the opposite end of the spectrum –  Osmosis Polish Enzyme Firming Mask. Polish will also give you a sensory experience though not to the same degree. Polish Enzyme Firming Mask has a delightful cranberry fragrance to it. But other than basking in the wonderful smell the feel of the mask is totally different than the Tropical Mango.

Osmosis Polish Enzyme Firming Mask

This is a thin mask that applies like syrup on your face. I have to be sure that my hair is totally away from my face since the mask has a sticky feel to it. It’s a cleansing mask for your pores and helps to redefine your complexion. Most exfoliating masks have a scrubby feeling to them but Polish differs in its approach. It has been designed to remove only the epidermal layer of the skin. It is meant to remove trapped dead skin to promote healthy skin coming to the surface through regrowth.

Osmosis Polish Enzyme Firming Mask

“The exfoliating formula utilizes lactic acid and cranberry to smooth your complexion and reduce the depth of fine lines and wrinkles. CoQ10 acts as a powerful antioxidant to negate free radical damage. Skin is left feeling supple and firm. Apply 2-3 pumps to a clean face 1-3 times per week. Leave on 5-15 minutes then rinse.”

Osmosis Polish Enzyme Firming Mask

I use this mask in place of a mask that is going to manually exfoliate my skin. This feels more like a treatment than a creamy or scrubby exfoliator. It helps to firm skin rather than hydrate it. Since it is sticky I always have to use a washcloth for removal. It leaves my skin more glowy than a hydrating mask. As a matter of fact what I like is to use Polish Enzyme Firming Mask one day and then the very next to use Tropical Mango Barrier Recovery Mask the next day – getting the best of both worlds to help protect my skin.

I can’t pick a favorite since the purpose of these is different but the end result is that you receive Osmosis Pur Medical Skincare’s technology and knowledge for your skin. Either one will give you an experience that will delight you as much as they do me.  —  Marcia
