Open your eyes to 2020 with Lumene eye treatments

Lumene is a Finnish skin care line that has its origins in a country where “well-being rituals are deeply influenced by women’s relationship with the surrounding and omnipresent nature and unusual light cycle, but also a place where a down-to-earth, authentic and effortless approach to beauty is celebrated.” The company is very proud of the Nordic natural resources and combine them to craft efficient natural skin care.

MARCIA FINDS MORNINGS TO BE BETTER WITH LUMENE HYDRATING EYE GEL

I’m obsessive about taking care of my eyes. I have a stash of eye creams, eye serums, eye masks and eye gels to help with this obsession. An eye gel is distinctly different from an eye cream. I don’t think of moisturizing properties when I think of an eye gel. Yet Lumene Purifying Dew Drops Hydrating Eye Gel gives eyes hydration. That fact actually surprised me.

The blue gel has a slightly stiff finish to it. For me the gel is great to make my under eye area look less troublesome. It tightens the skin under my eyes yet with the ingredients it contains it also gives continuous hydration throughout the day.

It’s a fragrance-free lightweight formula that is ideal to apply before you use cosmetics, you’ll see it get to work quickly. It contains Pure Arctic Spring Water that helps promote the healthy look of skin as well as Organic Nordic Birch Sap with its hydrating properties.

A little goes a long way. I store mine in a makeup cup standing up so that when I squeeze some out it’s not too much. I don’t want to waste it. There’s a cooling and refreshing feel to it. Once dry I’m able to go ahead with concealer and foundation without any worries. When I’m home and not going anywhere I’ll use a serum or eye cream but when I decide to go out and face the world Lumene Purifying Dew Drops Hydrating Eye Gel is the product I like to use for a more youthful appearance. Good-bye puffiness!

LISA FINDS MORNINGS TO BE BETTER WITH LUMENE BRIGHT EYES

One skin care product that I never fail to finish (as long as it is making a difference) is eye cream. A lot of people argue that eye cream isn’t really necessary because a good facial moisturizer should be able to do the job, but I disagree. I think the skin under the eye is different enough in thickness that it presents its own unique challenges, and a highly concentrated eye cream with excellent ingredients is essential. I found that the Lumene Bright Eyes ($15) eye cream makes a difference thanks to the effective ingredients, so I finished every tiny bit I could get out of the tube.

Lumene Bright Eyes

The tube itself is perfect – it is an opaque airless pump so it keeps the efficacy of the ingredients intact. The moisturizer is super concentrated so you only need a small amount. My tube lasted about a month and a half and it really helped brighten under my eyes, as well as calm down puffiness and reduce wrinkles. The formula is fragrance free so no worries in that arena.

Arctic Cloudberries

The combined ingredients make up what Lumene calls their Beautifeye™ technology, which features Wild Arctic Cloudberry and Vitamin C. The Wild Arctic Cloudberry isn’t a common skin care ingredient, but Lumene features it in many of their products. It’s a golden/orange berry that looks like tiny clusters of clouds. They are tiny but they pack a massive antioxidant punch because they have twice the amount of vitamin C as oranges. Lumene has taken this rare Lapland treasure and extracted the extremely high concentrations of vitamin C and antioxidants to make Bright Eyes, which excels at brightening the undereye area and increasing radiance.

Lumene Bright Eyes

Vitamin C is a proven skin brightener. It evens out skin tone, lightening any areas of discoloration and hyperpigmentation. Vitamin C products WORK. They diminish fine lines and smooth the skin – they are superheros in the skin care world. Vitamin C also reverses damage and protects skin from UV light, smoke, and pollution. What I really love about Bright Eyes is it gives me instant gratification by luminizing under the eyes, so darkness is lessened immediately. Over time, that darkness gets lighter, so the luminosity only gets better.

I use Bright Eyes each morning after cleansing, tapping on a small amount under my eyes as well as on my upper lids. My results have been impressive so I highly recommend it!

Lumene offers a variety of serums, moisturizers, masks, and skin care infused makeup ranging from $14.99-$29.99 and are sold at Target, Target.com, CVS, and CVS.com.

Same as Claudia, I was devoted to their CC cream that seems to have disappeared from CVS. All 3 of the eye products sound wonderful. I need to find Lumene in a local store again

I’ve tried a few eye creams & serums to deal with my dark circles, but with mixed results. I’ll give this one a try.
    Thanks for the recommendation.

I tried the gel one and liked it! That’s a nice cooling formula for summer.
