All winter I long for summer, and it has arrived in Michigan seemingly overnight! Temperatures are hitting the 80’s and I am loving it. However, it can be a challenge to look and feel your best while battling dripping foreheads, chafing thighs, and tiny sweat rivers traversing your spine. One of my secret weapons is great undergarments. It is great self-care in a few ways: first, you deserve to treat yourself. There is absolutely no reason to be wearing old, worn out, ill-fitting bras and undies. Second, with the incredible materials available, it’s easy to be glamorous and beat the heat at the same time. Montelle Intimates has a fantastic set that is perfect for no sweat glamour with their BodyBliss Breeze Collection Bralette and Biker Short.samples affiliate links
The Montelle Intimates BodyBliss Breeze Collection is made from this material called MicroModal® AIR. It is incredibly soft and cushy, and it’s made with eco-friendly material from self-renewable Beechwood trees which is amazing.
The BodyBliss Breeze Collection Bralette ($28) is adorable – I love the lacy detail, and it is also adjustable. It’s incredibly well made. The material is extremely breathable, and it wicks away sweat and perspiration which makes it great for both wear during the day or for bedwear at night. During the summer I like to wear just a bralette and matching shorts, and this is incredibly comfy and so flattering. It doesn’t provide any support so it’s not for really busty gals, but for those who aren’t this is a godsend, especially on hot muggy nights. It comes in black, ivory, seashell, and nutmeg.
The matching set is complete with the BodyBliss Breeze Collection Biker Short with Anti-Chafing ($48). It has the same breathable coverage, but it keeps those thighs from rubbing together – yes!! It actually has an anti-chafing panel in the inner thigh area that is its ‘secret weapon’ so no amount of heat is going to start a fire down there. These biker shorts are super soft and wonderful to wear, but still give you some support and keep you feeling cool. The legs come to about mid-thigh on me, but I find that I can easily hike them up if I am wearing a shorter style skirt and it doesn’t cause any issues in terms of comfort. The bottom edge is slightly sticky so they don’t roll up or ride up. Love these!!
