My new favorite masks from 7th Heaven and a giveaway so you can see why

7th Heaven Peel-Off Masks

Meet my two favorite masks from 7th Heaven – the Peel-Off masks. I’ve tried just about every type of mask that 7th Heaven (aka Montagne Jennesse) makes and enjoyed them all. Now though that I’ve tried these two peel-off masks I can easily declare that these are the best I’ve tried from them.

The masks have many similarities but they aren’t the same. COCONUT + CLAY PEEL-OFF MASK is a hydrating and nourishing mask that smells so coconutty that you won’t believe it. PINK GUAVA PEEL-OFF MASK is meant to purify and refine pores and smells lusciously sweet.

7th Heaven Peel-Off masks directions

These masks aren’t sheet masks though they’ll dry down enough so that you can peel it off. They start as a gel type material that you apply with your hands or a brush evenly on your skin. Stop touching and you’ll notice that it starts to dry and get a little tight. But not the tight that is annoying. 7th Heaven doesn’t give an exact time you should leave it on but the pictures indicate 20-25 minutes. These don’t work as they should if you don’t give them enough time to dry.

7th Heaven Coconut + Clay Peel-Off Mask

Coconut + Clay Peel Off Mask is recommended for normal, combo, and dry skin. It contains Natural Kaolin Clay, Collected Seaweed and Pressed Coconut. It’s a combination of the cleansing benefits of a clay mask with the pore refining of a peel-off. Then it’s combined with hydrating Coconut Oil and calming Seaweed to cleanse and nourish your skin.

Open the packet in a workplace that you don’t mind getting sticky (it washes off easily) because the white gel is thick and gooey. I make sure my hair is well off my face. Directions say to use the entire packet and maybe I’m doing it wrong but I’ve used half the sachet and saved the rest in a ziploc bag for the next time. It would be perfect for sharing a spa day with your beauty loving friend.

Once it’s on you can go about your business since it’s not going anywhere without you. It stays on until you peel it off. This is an easy peel though I haven’t gotten it off in one fell swoop. I get off one side, then the other. But there are more stubborn places where I have to put in a little more effort. I’ve learned not to let it get on my sideburns.

7th Heaven Coconut + Clay Peel-Off Mask, still on the damp side

Afterwards my face feels so smooth and ready to take on the world. It doesn’t get better than this for $1.99.

7th Heaven Pink Guava Peel-Off Mask

The second peel-off that I have (there are about 8 types from Montagne Jeunesse) is the PINK GUAVA PEEL-OFF. This is considered to be for oily, combo & problem skin. My skin is slightly combo yet I love this mask just as much. It’s made with natural ingredients like Vitamin C, Pressed Mangosteen and Crushed Guava. (I found this for $1.37 at Walmart)

7th Heaven Pink Guava Peel-Off Mask

This pretty pink mask is more of a gel and quite sticky at first. What makes this unique is that it combines Mangosteen fruit which is a natural break out fighter with Guava to improve skin tone and dark spots. When you peel it off along comes the dead skin cells leaving you with soft more exfoliated skin. I like it because it helps purify pores which is what I’m always looking for.

It dries clear and you’ll feel when it’s ready to gently peel off.

Benefits of Guava in Face Masks:
  1. Improves Complexion: rich in vitamin C, antioxidants and carotene which all benefit your skin. Helps skin to regain a fresh and radiant look.
  2. UV Protection: contains large amount of lycopene (an antioxidant) that is a skin protectant from UV rays and environmental pollution.
  3. Skin Toner: high concentration of vitamins, minerals and nutrients helps to keep skin toned and fresh.
  4. Acne and Dark Spot Treatment: contains vitamin K which is beneficial when treating dark circles, rosacea, acne, and skin splotchiness.

“All 7th Heaven masks are natural, cruelty free and Leaping Bunny/BUAV/PETA approved! Each mask comes in a single sachet pouch for a one time use and retails for $1.99 to achieve spa-like results at a fraction of the cost.”

If you are looking for a fun weekly mask for very little money (currently Ulta is buy 2 get 1 free) then I recommend 7th Heaven.
