Skin 2 Skin Care is a truly terrific, cruelty-free line that I am very excited about. It is a Photo-Cosmeceutical line that uses only plant-based and sustainable products. All products have no synthetic fragrance and work for even very sensitive skin.
I have several favorites from this line, but I am going to review them separately because there is so much technical information about each product. The first product that I my skin is absolutely loving is the Photoaging Repair Cream ($69). I am freckle-covered person. My nose and cheeks are freckled, my chest is freckled, so are my arms. Freckles are really cute on some people. I am not one of those people. In addition to my freckles, I am very prone to hyper-pigmentation. All of it adds up to a very, very uneven skin tone and a very, very unhappy Lisa.
Always on the lookout for something that will make my skin tone all one color, as opposed to the red, brown, and tan spots that I normally have, I was thrilled to try the Photoaging Repair Cream. Here is what it is supposed to do: lighten dark spots like hyper-pigmentation and freckles without causing irritation; help skin stay moisturized; lessen the look of fine lines and wrinkles; help skin repair itself and provide UV protection; and even out both tone and texture. Here’s what it does: all of the above. I am not a chemist, and often the list of ingredients for skin care products just makes me dizzy. I don’t even really care what is in it, because after using this for a month, I can say with conviction that it does work.
For those of you who enjoy the science, according to the website the main active ingredients are: “Kinetin-N6 (N6-Furfurladenine) – At 0.1% highest recommended concentration. Reverses the signs of sun damage, dark spots, and freckles. Replaces and regenerates damaged cells. Encourages moisture and without sun sensitivity and redness. Melanostatine5 – At 4% concentration this newest peptide that will lighten the overall appearance of dull mature skin. Also contains: Vitamins A and C and 20 Certified Organic Extracts.”
It’s a beautiful, thick white cream that applies easily and soaks right in. I put this on my face, neck, and décolletage both morning and night. I also smooth it on to the backs of my hands. In one month, my skin tone has evened out, my freckles and hyper-pigmentation have lightened, and I haven’t developed any more spots.
If you are freckle-prone and don’t want to be, or if you have any issues with dark patches on your skin, I highly recommend the Photoaging Repair Cream. I am loving some other products that I will write about later, but for now, definitely give this line a look! – Lisa

This sounds perfect for my sister. She has a lot of freckles from sun exposure. She even used a $400 La Prairie whitening cream and it didn’t work at all. Thanks for the review Lisa!!
I have not heard of this brand before but am encouraged by your results. I love how you highlight some noteworthy smaller brands!
Thanks for being so thorough with this. This is definitely a quality brand.
