Klorane Cupuaçu Bath & Body, part 2

Klorane Cupuaçu Body Lotion and Shower Cream

My blog partner Lisa stole my thunder when she wrote about KLORANE bath & body products yesterday but I won’t let that stop me even though my review isn’t quite as complete. That’s because I finally have another hidden giveaway at the bottom of this review.

KLORANE’s bath & body products come in 4 fragrances: Hibiscus Flower, Fig Leaf and Yuzu that Lisa reviewed along with Cupuaçu Butter which you’ll meet today.

Sustainably sourced from the Amazon rainforest in Brazil and harvested by hand after the fruit has ripened and fallen to the ground, naturally. The precious seeds are removed from the pulp, left to dry in the sun and then cold-pressed to create the rich Cupuaçu butter.

I’ve got the Cupuaçu Flower Body Lotion with Cupuaçu butter along with Fleur de Cupuaçu Ultra Nourishing Shower Cream. Both of these are targeted for dry to very dry skin. These Klorane products are rich in Omega-6 and 9 and are considered to be 1.5x more nourishing than Shea Butter. With the turn of the seasons it’s a perfect time to be using such rich nourishing products.

One of the things I find to be great about Klorane is that they sell some of their products in smaller sizes. For example a 2.5 oz lotion or shower cream is $9 and a great size for travel or even just for trying out. Their bath & body products are very reasonably priced but it’s great to have an opportunity to take it with you when you travel.

More reasons that the Klorane bath & body products are great:

  • Smooth, creamy texture to soothe dry skin
  • Retains skin’s natural balance
  • Soap-free cleansing base
  • Very high skin tolerance for dry skin
  • Notes of Cupuaçu fruit, Freesia blossom & Cotton Milk
  • Biodegradable formula

Klorane Cupuaçu Shower Gel

I’ve been using the Shower Cream with organic Cupuaçu butter, a very rich soap-free body wash. I appreciate the creaminess of it and how softly it lathers up. The fragrance is Cupuaçu fruit, freesia and cotton milk. It’s a warm enveloping fragrance. While Klorane also has shower gels the only shower cream is this Cupuaçu one.

Klorane Cupuaçu Body Lotion

I’m glad I started with the Shower Cream since it made me realize that my sensitive nose wasn’t going to be able to live with the Body Lotion. It’s such a shame since after reading Lisa’s review I know I’d love it if the fragrance loved me. Therefore this is going to a new home in our hidden giveaway. – Marcia
