This time of the year makes us think about gifts. Should we spoil ourselves with gifts or share with others? You should decide yourself about these products and enter the giveaway that’s the start of our holiday days of giving.
NANACOCO is a line I hadn’t heard about until it showed up at my door. They are best known for their reasonably priced line and their lip products. The two I have to share are the Nanococo MagnuMATTE Lip Crayons and the LIPtastic Lipsticks. Both are bringing a smile to my lips each time I wear them.samples
As a fan of Lip Crayons I was most excited to see the Nanococo MagnuMatte Lip Crayons show up. It wasn’t until I went to photograph them a few days later that I realized that the 3 crayons in the box were the same lovely shade. That means I can give 2 away and still have one for my party life.
I have the shade Red Delicious which is as juicy as an apple. I know this is a matte but it’s not the least bit drying. It’s a rich and creamy lip color and it’s super pigmented. I don’t wear dark lips so I blot this down and have a long lasting shade that can last up to 8 hours.
Not only is this vitamin enriched jumbo lip pencil long wearing but it slightly plumps without feeling tingly. At $7.50 you can happily choose from 12 different shades without breaking the bank.
The other lip product I was sent (and will be in the giveaway) is LIPtastic Lipstick. LIPtastics are satin cream lipstick and are just as long wearing as the matte lip crayons. It’s a very easy lipstick to apply because of the slanted tip and the silky feel.
Raspberries & Cream is one of 12 shades too ($8.50). The color is quite pigmented and doesn’t need to be reapplied often unless you eat something oily.
The other product you need to consider is from Jane Iredale and it’s her newest eyeshadow kit, LET’S PARTY. Yes I will party with this and no I won’t be gifting this particular one. This is a delightful limited edition palette that you will want ASAP. Gorgeous slightly shimmery (not glittery) shadows that will be perfect for party time.
Let’s Party is the newest of the line’s 6 palettes and the colors are all beautifully pigmented. Here’s the official picture of the swatches but I find that they aren’t this deep when I’m applying them:
Let’s Party shadows have names on the back of the pretty rose gold compact: Spree, Wing Ding, Soiree, Shindig, Hootenanny. The first light pink is perfect with every shade in the palette. The shades I use the most are the pink (Spree), plum (Wing Ding), and the brown (Hootenany). Hootenany is the only one with visible shimmer but it’s subtle and looks wonderful in the crease or under your eyes. This is one terrific eyeshadow palette!
Jane Iredale is a cruelty-free company that is formulated with minerals, botanical extracts and silica. If you are concerned about vegan and gluten free ingredients they are very upfront with that information. Their products are sold on their own website as well as Dermstore and Nordstrom (limited amount there). There’s a medi-spa in my area that sells their products too.
