It Cosmetics Vitality Cheek Flush Powder BlushStain = wow!

Think of the most pigmented product you have. Now double that pigment and you’ll have It Cosmetics Vitality Cheek Flush Powder BlushStain. I’ve never tried a blush with this much pigment before and I’ve tried every blush brand that I can find. What’s different about It Cosmetics though is that they are a blend of a stain and a powder.

It Cosmetics is one of my very favorite brands. The name IT actually stands for Innovative Technology which is absolutely perfect since that’s what they are all about. They create innovative formulas unlike any others. Here’s some information from IT Cosmetics  which proves what I’m saying: This truly innovative formula contains It Cosmetics’ Hydra-Luxe technology, including ingredients such as plum oil, cherry oil, hyaluronic acid, pomegranate, seaweed extract, grape seed, aloe, and jojoba that all work together to treat, hydrate, condition, and nourish your skin. Plus, Vitality Cheek Flush is packed with antioxidants, including vitamins A, C, and E, acai, green tea, and white tea. This made-in-the-USA formula is also paraben-free.

I’ve mentioned before that a day doesn’t go by that one or more of their products is on my face.  Now I have more choices to make that statement even more true. Vitality Cheek Flush are available in 3 shades and are currently sold just on QVC for $24 individually (A320947) or for $35 with the most interesting looking brush (A218672).

Here are the three colors available:

  • Pretty in Peony: a soft peachy pink shade
  • Radiant in Rose: a rosy pink shade
  • Magical in Mauve: a spicy, rosy plum shade

It Cosmetics Vitality Cheek Flush: Peony, Mauve, Rose

I need to use a very light hand when applying these blushes since they go on so intensely. The first time you apply one you’ll be in shock so my advice is to start with a lot less blush on your brush than you expect to need. It’s easy to add more, it’s hard to subtract. I don’t have the Luxe French Boutique Blush Brush you can get but I’d advice it since It Cosmetics knows what works best for these vibrant brushes. I use a soft fluffy brush since they are so pigmented.

It’s hard to pick a favorite with these since they are all so gorgeous. Pretty in Peony is the most dazzling of the group. I love the sheen of this peachy pink. After I apply it I like to rub my finger over my cheeks to bring out the luminosity of it.

Radiant in Rose is truly a rose shade. At first you might look at these two next to each other and think they’d be similar when worn but once on you see how much cooler toned it is than Peony.

Magical in Mauve is the darkest of the group. I can make it work but with my extremely fair skintone it’s a little too dark. It’s the coolest of the bunch and their description of “a spicy, rose plum shade” is spot on. All three blushes will work wonderfully on darker skintones.

Comments

  1. I saw these presented on QVC & wondered if they were as good as they sounded. I love the idea of a powder/stain fusion since powder blushes often disappear throughout the day. The peony is really calling my name! This may have to be my next blush purchase.

  2. Wow is right. Amazing pigment. I like the look of the peony best

  3. I love the look of Peony–are these like a cream to powder or powder to cream or none of the above? LOL IT is such a fabulous brand and so often overlooked!

  4. They are a velvety powder that act as a stain. It’s the only powder blush I own that I can apply with my fingers.

  5. wow and wow!
