Is Lisa winging this review? Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner

Nope, I’m not winging this review. Frankly, until I get some plastic surgery my eyes are just too old for that now – not a good look anymore! However, I am still lining. Eyes can never be too droopy for that! I was excited to test Eyeko’s Skinny Liquid Eyeliner ($22) because I am a fan of felt tip eyeliners in general.

Eyeko’s Skinny Liquid Eyeliner

Even though I don’t do cats-eyes anymore, those of you who do will love the Skinny Liquid Eyeliner. The felt tip is perfect for it and even  novices will have great luck because it’s so easy to apply. It’s really like drawing on with a pointy tip marker. The pigment is fantastic, super duper black. You can use the very tip to make a super thin line, or use the side to make thick line just as easily. In fact, I was road testing this baby and forgot I had one eye done with a thick line and one eye done with a thin line and went out for the day looking like a crazy person. Not my best moment.

Eyeko’s Skinny Liquid Eyeliner

I wouldn’t say the Skinny Liquid Eyeliner is completely smudge proof, but it’s easy to clean up and the line is so neat and defined. My favorite look is a defined brow, a beige wash of color on my lids, a thick line on my upper lid, and tons of mascara.  Cool and classic!

I highly recommend the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner – whether you like to wing it or not!  – Lisa

Comments

  1. I really need to try something from Eyeko, and this liquid liner looks like it has a perfectly shaped tip for excellent control.

  2. I got this eyeliner in my first Ipsy Glam Bag Plus, and at first I wasn’t thrilled because another black liquid liner. But it is actually a great liquid liner! I had used the Eyeko Fat Liner but I think I like the Skinny liner even more. I’d say it’s a dupe for KVD liquid liner

  3. Might be nice to try. Not really into the dark black lines around my eyes, that come off kind of harsh in the light of day. I’ve seldom seen it done well on others.

  4. I love Eyeko products!

  5. Ehmkay Nails says:

Wow it is so pigmented! I usually use a pencil but this looks awesome.

  6. Hahaha! I love that you went out with two different eye looks! I’ve done that as well and was a little mortified when I saw myself in the mirror lately. I’m enjoy baby wings from time to time and need to try out this liner!

  7. I hardly do cat eyes anymore. Mostly during special events only. I own a similar one from KVD

  8. I am all about liquid liner, so I’ll have to remeber this. It sounds great.

  9. I prefer matte liquid liner, but I like the precision you get with this!

  10. wings are so hard for me. But I like that this is fine tipped and a felt tip. The brush kind are totally useless to me.

  11. 25 Sweetpeas says:

Hehe that quote! I love a good wing bit need to find a better liner for it! I miss my felt tip ones!

  12. Oooh I like the look of that pen! My status for work online was “winged liner sharp enough to cut a bitch. try me” for like 5 years, haha.
