I love this time of year! Yes, it’s a little bittersweet with the ending of one phase of life, but ah, the excitement of new chapters beginning plus the beauty of spring followed by the lush greenery of summer…it’s just fabulous. Not to mention all those graduation parties! Fun fun fun! Besides giving a nice wad of cash, add in a little personal gift to send your grad off to school with something to remind her that self-care is always important. It’s all about balance, isn’t it? Here are four of my picks for graduations gifts this year.samples affiliate links
This adorable nail polish collection from Gabriel couldn’t be better for your grad. The Gabriel Cosmetics Ephemeral Beauty Collection has 5 shades of 10-free formula polishes (aka: NO formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, camphor, formaldehyde resin, xylene, parabens, fragrances, phthalates and animal by-products) that are totally on trend.
Beautiful shimmer, feminine pastels, and bright jewel tones – it has everything. You can find this adorable set at Target.
Every dorm room needs a diffuser, and I think the perfect one to gift your grad is the Guru Nanda Honeycomb Diffuser ($25.99). It’s just the right size for a dorm room, and the honeycomb feature makes the lighting look really cool. It cycles through seven different colors and it has an automatic shut off feature plus overheating protection. Beautiful and functional, and essentials oils won’t just make a dorm room smell good, they will also help your grad stay relaxed, focused, and balanced.
Speaking of dorm rooms, they are often very short on space. It’s essential to keep organized, so a very thoughtful gift is one from Mindspace. Mindspace has tons of organizational products, and I’m loving their desk organizers for grads – after all, a clear desk leads to a clear mind! These organizers are thoughtful, intuitive workhorses that make a huge difference.
The Office Desk Organizer ($16.99) has 6 compartments and a pull-out drawer for pens, pencils, notepads, staplers, etc. I am amazed at how much stuff fits into this baby.
Or, an even more efficient organizer is the Compact Organizer Caddy ($15.99). This one has 8 compartments and one pull-out drawer. It’s made of sturdy mesh metal like all Mindspace products, and I am astounded at the amount of items that I can fit into it! You can find Mindspace on Amazon, Zulily, eBay and the Mindspace website.
Another great idea is to slip some cash into this awesome little set for giving your body some love – the Pixi by Petra Glow Body Travel Kit ($22). All three products inside feature glycolic acid for exfoliating skin, lactic acid for brightening, and natural botanicals for moisturizing. The Glycolic Body Wash is one of my favorite Pixi body products because it keeps skin super smooth and bump-free and also leaves it moisturized. The Glycolic Body Peel is a great pumice body scrub that is a real treat, and the Glycolic Body Lotion feels amazing on, especially after using the body wash and body scrub. Your grad will love this!
Have fun at all the graduation parties, and don’t forget to give your grads a little something extra to remind them to take good care of themselves while at school. – Lisa
