At the moment I’m in a phase of choosing “glow from within” polishes. These magical shades are brightening up my life while my other pretties are hiding in the dark. I’ve chosen 3 polishes to share with you.
I’ll start with Cirque Colors since I’ve fallen in love with the 2 polishes I recently bought and have already ordered more shades. All Cirque Colors products are non-toxic, 4-free, vegan & cruelty-free. Designed and handmade in Brooklyn, NY.
CIRQUE CLOUD NINE is fantastic, fabulous, gorgeous, beautiful, and amazing. Not only did it apply like a dream, it lasted for 7 full days without a chip in sight. And it delighted me the entire time. It’s a shade in their newest collection, Dreamscape, and is described as a lavender purple polish with vibrant pink shimmer and delicate holographic sparkle. At $12.50 it’s just a little bit more costly than brands like OPI but you get more bang for the buck with this.
CIRQUE FATA MORGANA is also a lavender polish but it’s nothing at all like Cloud Nine. It’s much lighter, almost like a light gray that leans to lavender and pink. The sparkle in this is described as copper but I’d never describe it that way since it’s such a light copper and there’s so much pink to it. This light toned polishes seems to look different depending on the lighting around you.
BLUSH LACQUERS is an indie nail polish company that you need to know about. The polishes I’ve bought from BLUSH are some of the best available. I get compliments galore on the polishes especially Bahamas that I recently wore for a week ($13). I love it when my nails are noticed and Bahamas is a star in that category.
This is part of their Beachside Sunset collection and I think it personifies the collection perfectly. “Bahamas is a periwinkle blue base with an orange shimmer that shifts to gold and green at extreme angles.”
All BLUSH polishes are 5 free which means that they have no camphor, toluene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) or formaldehyde resins. All polishes are handmade and mixed in small batches using quality ingredients that are cosmetic grade.
I’ll share more Blush Lacquers polishes in the future as well as the new Cirque I just ordered. You aren’t going to go wrong with either of these two brands since they are long lasting and the creators take great pride in what they sell. — Marcia
