Five Fall Favorites! Biosilk, Stylecraft, Phytoceane and Pinch of Colour

As much as I love the summer, I really appreciate the inspiration I get from fall colors.  I took these photos last week right from my front porch!  Autumn reminds me that beauty is all around us AND inside of us.  It also reminds me that change is good, so it’s time to change up some of my typical beauty products.

Here are five of my favorites this fall.

1 and 2.  Biosilk Silk Therapy with Organic Coconut Oil Moisturizing Shampoo ($26) and Conditioner ($17)S

The BioSilk Silk Therapy Organic Coconut Oil Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner feature organic coconut oil, a fantastic ingredient for hair that makes it extremely soft, strong, and shiny.  They both smell amazing…yes I love fall, but this keeps summer memories close to me!

The shampoo has a rich, thick lather, and it gives my fine hair enough moisture to keep it from getting tangled.  The conditioner is hydrating but doesn’t weigh down my fine strands, so I get tons of body and if I curl my hair the curls stay.  It’s a great way to change up your shampoo and conditioner routine while keeping a summer vibe.

3.  Stylecraft Cleansing Facial Brush ($39.95)

The Stylecraft Cleansing Facial Brush is a vibrating silicone cleansing brush with 6 different speeds – sonic cleansing, exfoliation, and massage.  One charge lasts for 200 uses, and it shuts itself off after 3 minutes if you forget to do it yourself.

The palm-sized facial brush is perfect for traveling and autumn getaways, and it keeps your skin exfoliated and more receptive to your treatment products.  This is very similar to – and cleanses just as well as – the more expensive Foreo Luna 2 ($169) but it is so much more affordable…instead buy the Stylecraft Gentle Cleansing Facial Brush and you will have more to spend for updating your fall wardrobe!

4.  Phytoceane Age Solution Firming Cream with Organic Wakame (normally $77, but right now at LovelySkin it’s on sale for $61.60)

This fall I have decided that my skin care goal is to turn back the clock.  I want younger looking skin, and there’s no better way to get that than increased collagen and elastin production.  A little bit of firming shaves years off of your face.

Phytoceane Age Solution Firming Cream with Organic Wakame is the right moisturizer for the job, especially since they say that after one month skin is 2x more plump, elastic, firmed and toned.  This is one case where I actually want to be plumper!  The organic wakame, which is a seaweed, is the miracle ingredient that boosts collagen and elasticity – if you start now, you will have 2x better skin by Thanksgiving!

5.  Pinch of Color Honey Glow Waterless Balm ($35)  Check out the full review HERE.

I just can’t rave enough about the Honey Glow Waterless Balm, a multi-tasking balm that gives your complexion a beautiful, youthful glow.  This balm melts into the skin and leaves a beautiful golden highlight that is slightly dewy. Oh and it smells absolutely delicious, like vanilla bean infused honey. The Honey Glow Waterless Balm not only highlights, it also primes skin for makeup and provides moisture courtesy of the shea butter based formula.

I love using the Honey Glow Waterless Balm on my lips for hydration and a pretty golden shimmer (and it tastes AMAZING!). I also use it on my cheeks for a lovely glow that really lasts and it is gorgeous on the decolletage. It is a yummy, beautiful, good for you lippie/highlighter that is also good for the planet.

Change is good, and I am extremely happy with my new products for fall.  It reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from Meister Eckhart:

“And suddenly you know…It’s time to start something new and trust the magic of new beginnings.”
