FabFitFun Fall 2019 review and a giveaway

This is my first experience with FabFitFun and I already know I want to repeat it. I was swayed by a promotion and received $10 off my first box plus I got a bonus 4 items. I’d been thinking about ordering FFF for a long time and finally hit the magic button that deducted money from my account.

Normally I end up giving away a lot of items from my subscriptions (BoxyCharm, Ipsy, Proscription) and I was sure that would be the case with FabFitFun but I like the products and actually will use a lot myself. How about that!!

I don’t know as much as I should about the box but I think that you can customize a box ahead of time. Their magazine shares what all members receive and then what Select members can pick as customization in their box. As a newbie I have the standard box. (Regularly $49.95 with 4 boxes per year.)

There’s a missing item in my photo and that’s because my husband, our kitchen expert, instantly chose to disappear with the epare’ Dual Salt and Pepper Mill ($21.95). It’s a handsome piece that looks good in our contemporary kitchen.

The first item I was attracted to is the Plush Ultra Soft Plaid Scarf ($75) in Navy, Charcoal, and white. This polyester and viscose scarf is more of a neck wrap since it’s 31″ long and 24″ wide. It will be great with my navy, denim or black outerware.

Did you watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hill? In the early seasons Adrienne was married to Dr. Paul Nassif, a famous plastic surgeon. He has his own line of products and the one in this box is NassifMD Detox Pads ($45). I am looking forward to using these as I no longer have any in my collection and they are great for cleansing and exfoliating.

My eye couldn’t help but be drawn to the cute little sugar cubes in a plastic jar. These are Harper + Ari Exfoliating Sugar Cubes in Juice Clean ($15). There are 8 cubes in the jar. Use one by crushing it into your hand and massaging it over wet skin in the bath or shower. I loved the way it smelled and how much better my skin looked after using one.

Wanna see me excited? Then put The Better Skin Co. in my box. This is their Lava Magic which is a triple threat as it’s a cleanser, scrub and mask. ($32 but on sale at Amazon for $23).)

Beauty wise there’s WANDER Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks (6 pairs, $25) combines everything I crave: masks, eye products, and beauty.

Not done!! Human + Kind Body Souffle’ ($18) is a vegan and cruelty free body cream that will be great for winter. And Aveda Damage Remedy ($30), Daily Hair Repair finish the box. Total value? $232. And there’s still my bonus products:

  1. Between $20-30 at the Most

  2. Kimbre Music says

I’ve been dying to try the Extraordinary Translucent powder by Ciate London!!

  3. It really depends, no more than 45

  4. Kim Henrichs says

$99 is my absolute max – but that depends on what it is. I pay it for a beach themed box. A beauty one I would say 80.

  5. Debra Branigan says

I think no more than $25.00 for a month. For me, its about new products to try. If I was getting more than that, I think it would be piling up in my drawer.

  6. Colleen Boudreau says

    I wouldn’t spend more than $50.

  7. Vicki Wurgler says

    $30 for me

  8. I would spend $60 on a beauty subscription box.

  9. Katherine Donovan says

It depends on what and how much is in the box. I would say anywhere fro $30-$50 per box.

  10. With the budget I am on now. I don’t think anytime soon I can even afford a beauty box of any sort, but in the future down the road maybe $40

  11. Susan Gillam says

    I would spend around $25.00 – $50.00.

  12. 20 bucks is my limit we do Boxycharm

  13. $25-35

  14. amybelle2001 says

I think $25 a month is the most I’d spend–and they’d have to be really great products and enough to warrant the $25.

  15. $10

  16. Cynthia Richardson says

    $50 – $75 quarterly

  17. Melissa Storms says

For a beauty box I would say $25 a month, I wouldn’t mind a box with just a couple nice products to try each month.

  18. $15

  19. Shannon Citrino says

    About $25

  20. I guess it depends on the types of products you’re getting and if they are full sized or samples. Maybe $50?

  21. I would spend $20-30

  22. Pauline Milner says

Since I love these type of subscription boxes, I would spend up to $40 a month, or perhaps more depending on the amount of items offered each month. Thanks for the awesome giveaway opportunity.

  23. Sabrina Zehner says

I’d be willing to spend 10-20 now. When all my kids leave home I’d spend more as I’d have it. lol

  24. molli taylor says

i think about $50 a month sounds fair to me, no price on beauty though!

  25. Christy Peeples DuBois says
  26. DeAnna Keller says

    I’d do $15- $30 tops.

  27. Anna Memphis says

I’d be willing to spend $10-15 a month for a beauty box, but it would have to be pretty well curated — I have finicky skin, so whatever is in the box would have to not be problematic for me.

  28. $10?

  29. Charlotte Winters says

I’d be willing to pay $20.

  30. Marilyn Nawara says

Up to $40 if it was specific to my age

  31. Patrycja Chudziak says

Probably $20-$25. With 3 kids my budget goes on them mostly. I buy makeup every few weeks but on a need basis, because I usually have a surplus already and try to use up what I have to avoid too much clutter.

  32. About $25.

  33. I have spent $50 for FFF but that is my max.

  34. I would say maybe 20 30.

  35. I really couldn’t say. Less than 50, probably.

  36. Elizabeth Raymond says

I would be willing to spend 20 – 30.00 on a beauty box. I have not tried this box and would love to!

  37. $20-$25 depending on what the box offers.

  38. Julie Bickham says

For a box like this I would pay 50.

  39. No more than $25 a month because I’m on a budget. We are going to be listing our house in the spring and buying something new.

  40. Michelle Tucker says

Usually 30-35 would be my limit. Although I have had my eye on fab fit fun a lot lately.

  41. Maybe $15 a month? Not sure. Thanks and God bless!

  42. Laurie Nykaza says

I would spend $20-75 depending what is offered in there boxes.

  43. I would say $15, alot of samples I see in boxes are so small that they used to be free giveaways. I have not tried FabFitFun’s box, so I would love to be pleasantly surprised.

  44. I would spend $25- 30 a month.

  45. Cassandra D says

    Around $25.00.
