Fab hair with Saints & Sinners

You no longer have to make a decision. You can be both a saint and a sinner with this professional haircare line. Saints & Sinners is a cruelty-free, vegan line that hairdressers have become obsessed with. I’m pretty sure I’m obsessed with their Velvet Divine products too.

Saints & Sinners was founded by Diana Wilson since her children have a deadly peanut allergy. She helped to create a line that is free of over 14 harmful ingredients. Here’s what it’s missing and we should be glad about this: sulfates, gluten, parabens, phthalates, iron oxides, mineral oil, petrolatum, synthetic colors, nut ingredients and palm oil.

Saints & Sinners Velvet shampoo, conditioner, and styling polish

The Velvet Collection is perfect for my hair since it was created to make hair look and feel as smooth as velvet. I have shoulder length color treated hair that I wash every third day. I once in a while will use a hair mask but I prefer to let conditioner and treatment give my hair the detangling and shine it craves.

Velvet Divine Moisture Shampoo and Velvet Divine Daily Conditioner are ideal for chemically treated, frizzy, thermally damaged, dry, curly, unruly, coarse hair types. I fall into the chemically treated, thermally damaged and dry hair range. My hair isn’t too badly damaged and I want to keep it that way but when you use heat tools to style you’re bound to have some damage.

Velvet Divine Moisture Shampoo ($27.50) is infused with Avocado Oil, Keratin Amino Acids and Hydrolyzed Soy Protein. All three of these products have a light fragrance that I notice only when I’m washing/conditioning/styling. Otherwise it doesn’t affect my sense of smell at all.

Velvet Divine Daily Conditioner ($27.50) is excellent for detangling my hair after washing it and I notice the conditioning instantly. Still I leave it on for several minutes to more deeply condition. Both the bottles of the shampoo and conditioner look the same but the lid shade is different so that even those of us who wear glasses all the time know what we’re squeezing out.

Saints & Sinners Velvet Divine Styling Potion

Velvet Divine Styling Potion ($22.50) is ready for me after I’m done in the shower. My hair would be a total disaster without a styling cream prior to blowdrying and Velvet Divine Styling Potion makes it easy to blow dry and flat iron my hair without tangles. This magical potion not only conditions hair but it eliminates frizz while adding shine and smoothness. It’s humidity resistant which I can attest to since we’ve had mostly cold snowy or rainy weather the last few weeks.

It doesn’t weigh my hair down and leaves it bouncy looking and feeling. A bonus is that I can use a small amount on dry hair when I’m refreshing it with a flat iron and my hair still feels clean.

I’ve seen this brand a few times, but hadn’t looked into it. Sounds like a great option for those who deal with allergies to other ingredient in haircare
