Everything’s coming up roses with Purvari!

Whether you celebrate Valentine’s Day or Galentine’s Day, celebrating with roses is a terrific idea. Did you know that a red rose symbolizes love, and deep or hot pink roses are gratitude, while light or pale pink roses convey joy and happiness? The Purvari Rose Petal Mist is like a mixed bouquet of roses, because I love it – I am grateful for it – and it makes me happy.  Voila, a bouquet!

I have to admit that I often don’t like the scent of roses. I think that it’s easy to get wrong. It often smells too soapy, or ‘old lady’ or so sharp it gives me a headache. However even if you aren’t fond of rose scents you will likely be thrilled with the Purvari Rose Petal Mist.

The Purvari Rose Petal Mist is different from all the others on the market which are typically water with some rose oil. Purvari Rose Petal Mist has steamed distillate rosa damascena, which means they steam-distill actual pure rose petals. Those two simple ingredients, pure water and the petals of organic Ganganagri and Pushkar wild roses, make for an incredible spray. And surprise – there is no added fragrance. The tiny bit that is there from the rose petals is so soft I had to really hunt to find it.

Damasc Roses

The roses are special for a few reasons. Purvari hand-picks them in small batch harvests that are never treated with chemicals or pesticides. Who wants that on their skin? The reason that roses are so great for facial sprays is that they are rich in antioxidants, emollients, and plant extracts. The distilling process locks in all the good stuff, like the polyphenols and vitamin C. As a result, spritzing this on throughout the days fights the aging process, balances oil, reduces redness, tones, hydrates and contains anti-inflammatory properties while it visibly brightens skin.

The benefits are long enough to list:

  • Rich in antioxidants and polyphenols that fight aging and restore skin health
  • Natural source of vitamin C, geraniol, and quercetin, which all have soothing and anti-inflammatory properties
  • Balances oil and reduces redness
  • Tones and hydrates skin
  • Visibly brightens and softens the appearance of dark spots
  • Reduces acne and blackheads
  • Natural mood booster to help you relax and unwind
  • Mild and soothing fragrance is a great headache reliever
  • Soothes the skin and helps eliminate eczema
  • Can be used in sunburn treatment and as an anti-blemish product

You can use the Purvari Rose Primer Mist as a primer before applying your makeup and it will create that smooth canvas and leave skin feeling super soft. You can also mist some on to set your makeup. Interestingly, the natural rose petal mist has no oils so there is no fear of bleeding mascara!

There are so many ways to use the Purvari Rose Petal Mist that I am thinking who needs a man? All I need on Valentine’s Day is this!

Hydrate throughout the day and get naturally glowing skin
Spray after applying your favorite lotion to lock in moisture
Enhance the glow and spray on your sheet mask
Guys, replace your after shave with Purvari

The 4oz. Premium Rose Petal Mist is $48.00, the travel friendly 1oz. Premium Rose Petal Mist is $16, and the Premium Rose Petal Mist Gift Set which contains both is a bargain at $60. The most basic instructions for using this mist is to spray it right onto your skin. It will balance out any skin oil and hydrate the skin. I use my moisturizer over the top of the spray mist and then use it throughout the day whenever I start feeling the effects of dry indoor heat.  This summer, I plan to store my rose petal mist bottle in the refrigerator for a super refreshing mist. The cold temperature actually  boosts the water’s natural pore-refining properties as well. And just like Purvari says – results are immediate and noticeable.
