What are little boys made of?
Snips and snails
And puppy-dogs’ tails
That’s what little boys are made of
What are little girls made of?
Sugar and spice
And everything nice
That’s what little girls are made of
Dr.Organics has created a line of products that both males and females can enjoy but you can’t be squeamish. The line is their snail gel line. This is the unique ingredient which is naturally rich in proteins, collagen, elastin, glycolic acid and vitamins. It’s blended with other ingredients to soften and hydrate skin. You won’t feel like you are applying snails to your skin, really you won’t. But you will feel like you are applying an organic skincare line that is free of all the bad stuff.samples, affliate links
“When Chilean snail farmers started noticing the remarkable healing, softening and scar-reducing effects of handling snails upon their hands, they quickly realised they had stumbled upon something that would change skincare forever. These little slow movers are incredible natural healers that secrete a protective balm that can prevent skin damage. We’ve cultivated this miracle balm in a breakthrough range of organic products that can help stimulate collagen production, renew elasticity and turn back the ageing clock.”
Snail Gel is considered to be an anti–aging ingredient that will give your skin a boost. Now it is a little off putting to think that you are using this ingredient but it’s no different than any other that you use on your skin. I was sent the 4 dr.organic snail gel items that are sold on Ulta.com (and in selected stores). I’ve given them a month’s try and am now ready to tell you all about them.
First I must note that several of the products have a fragrance. It’s not a strong fragrance but I notice it for about half an hour.
dr.organic snail gel healthy aging day gel ($19.99) isn’t a moisturizer, it’s a pre-moisturizer meant to hydrate, rejuvenate, and help with radiance. One of the main ingredients is aloe vera which is great for the rejuvenation. It feels very cool going on because of the gel consistency and will be even better in the hot weather. Follow up with a moisturizer and sunscreen once the gel has been absorbed.
dr.organic snail gel healthy aging facial serum ($)19.99 is to be used day and/or night. I find that it helps with the radiance of my skin. “Ethically sourced from France, this unique ingredient is rich in collagen, elastin, and glycolic acid, which work together to rejuvenate and improve skin softness.” The serum has the strongest fragrance of the products so I can only use it early in the day.
dr.organic snail gel healthy aging night cream ($19.99) is a moisturizer and feels very hydrating on the skin. After cleansing and using their facial serum I’ll apply a small amount and massage it gently onto my skin. Aging night cream helps to deeply moisturize and hydrate. It helps with improving your skin’s softness. It also helps with the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
dr.organic snail gel healthy aging face mask ($3.99) is a mask that is sold individually which is a great way to try and see how you like it. It’s a once a week treatment that only needs 5 minutes to hydrate and treat your face. It didn’t dry down uncomfortably on me, it stayed on the moist side. Then I used a damp washcloth to remove it and was ready for the next step in my skincare routine.
dr.organic aloe vera hydrating eye gel ($15.99) isn’t a snail product and I’ll be passing it on to Lisa since she’s going to share their aloe vera line. But I have used it and can tell you that it’s great to refresh your tired eyes. This has been used by me in the daytime to help cool and soothe the skin around my eyes. This is another gel that will be even more soothing in the warm spring and summer. “This refreshing eye gel contains Mexican organic aloe vera, plus cucumber and witch hazel, which work to naturally restore moisture and help replenish tired looking eyes.”
With great ingredients and very fair prices dr.organic snail gel products are a line you should consider. The snail gel has no puppy dog tails attached and there’s nothing in it except goodness for your skin. And a smile on your face. — Marcia
