Are your eyes lost without mascara? Do you depend on your mascara to make you more visible to the world? Do you love learning about the best mascaras available? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you are in for a treat learning about Lash Control. What makes Lash Control unique is that it just as easily could be called Squeeze Control. This mascara and the accompanying brow fix have unusual packaging with a center squeeze area that changes that amount of mascara that releases when you apply. You are in control of your destiny with these mascaras. The more you squeeze, the less mascara is deposited on the brush. Interesting!! There are two formulas that we’ll talk about as we each tested a different one.
I tested the ClearCoat Mascara and Brow-Fix and the Volumizing and Conditioning Mascara 2xBLACK. I know that the fascination with these is the squeezable middle portion that gives you far more control over how much product is dispensed. However, I actually think that innovative feature isn’t the major reason to purchase these two products.
While it seems a little strange, the best look for eyebrows is to brush them right straight up. It really opens the eye area and is very flattering. I do this every morning, but without a good brow gel they fall right back into that complacent resting position. I need a firm brow gel to tame and hold my brows in place – but without the crunchy stiffness, thank you very much. The Lash Control ClearCoat Mascara and Brow-Fix absolutely does the job for me! It has the squeeze-y center but again, it’s really secondary to the fact that this is a great brow gel. It does exactly what it needs to – holds my brows in place all day without looking or feeling weirdly stiff. It’s a winner!
I guess the control center for the Volumizing and Conditioning Mascara matters a little more to me – it’s pretty cool to be able to vary the amount of product and it definitely takes care of any potential clumps. But besides that, this is just a truly terrific mascara. Lashes are very soft and flexible, but thick, long, and super black…and no smearing. None. Hooray!! Love this mascara and I have no doubt that you will too.
My test was for Lash Control’s Lengthening and Conditioning Mascara which is different from my usual pick of a volumizing mascara. I haven’t used a mascara known for length in a long time so it was a good choice for me. I’ll tell you what I love best about it — it never ever flakes on me. No matter how long my day is, no matter if I take a nap, I have no flakes from early morning to late at night.
When I first started to use it I wasn’t paying attention so each time I’d squeeze the pink middle section and wondered why it was such a dry mascara. Then I read the website and realized I was doing the exact opposite of what I should be doing! I know now that the trick for my first coats is to use the mascara straight from the tube. But I still squeeze but that’s for applying another coat. I like to go back over the tips of my lashes to add some volume to the length and that’s when I want a clearer brush. I love how long this mascara lasts on me and that I never have to think about it if I’m going out at night.
Conditioning mascara formulas are non-irritating*. With loads of botanicals in a hydrating beeswax base, ingredients include Gingko Biloba, Chamomile Flower Extract, Ginseng Root Extract and many more. Our formulas accentuate length with the ability add volume with layers as desired. Lashes stay flexible to the touch. No smearing or flaking.
I’ve also used the Clear Coat Mascara and Brow Fix both on my lashes and my brows but I’m sticking with it on my brows. My lashes are thin so they get weighed down easily and since Lash Control never flakes on me I don’t need the extra protection of a clear coat. But I like to use this on my brows to keep the powder staying fresh all day. Even when I got my hair tinted and water got on them, they stayed color true with the addition of Lash Control Clear Coat Brow Fix.
These three products from LASH CONTROL are winners in our books and we think they’d be the same in your books. Whether you want length, volume, or control you’ll find it with these.
