Does Goodhead Shampoo live up to its name?

You have NO idea how difficult this review has been to write. I mean, seriously – I am already a total smart ass who constantly has to rein myself in so I don’t go totally overboard into the Inappropriate Ocean. Then I am sent Goodhead Shampoo – made by Ballsy – to review?? C’mon Ballsy…you are killing me here.

I will do my best to be a good girl as I discuss Goodhead. I swear.

Ballsy Goodhead Shampoo

So, you may ask – why review such a risque-sounding shampoo? Well because it is actually pretty terrific. If you take a look at Ballsy’s website, Goodhead Shampoo ($15) has over 200 ratings and the overall average is 4.9. I would say that is a sign that Goodhead is indeed pretty good. I love what Ballsy says Goodhead Shampoo will do for you:  “Get ready for respect-worthy hair so good that it’ll bump your credit score 300 points and crown you karaoke king next Thursday night.” What man can resist that??

Ballsy Goodhead Shampoo

Goodhead Shampoo is most definitely marketed toward men (and the hilarious partners who love them). This shampoo works for every type of hair, from super thick and unruly to barely there.  It has excellent ingredients:

Blue-Green Algae Extract — Helps promote thicker hair
Quinoa Protein — Strengthens and moisturizes
Tea Tree — Cleanses and soothes scalp
Green Tree — Repairs and protects from damage
Activated Charcoal — Detoxifies for a healthier scalp
16oz wash lasts ~2 months with daily use

I am impressed that in addition to no parabens, phthalates, or synthetic dyes, it also doesn’t contain any sulfates so your guy’s hair will always be super soft as well as clean. It does have a fragrance, but my goodness, it is tremendous!  The scent is a combination of beach, citrus, vanilla, coconut, and sea salt. Heavenly.

Ballsy Goodhead Shampoo

What more could a man with a sense of humor ask for? Excellent ingredients, no sulfates, fantastic scent, and a double entendre and pun-friendly name. It’s a cheeky Father’s Day gift – imagine your spouse bragging about the Goodhead you gave him.

Sorry. I tried to be good.

You can find Goodhead Shampoo and all the other blush-worthy named products at the online Ballsy store,  Enjoy! – Lisa

I am so glad to hear that it is an excellent shampoo! The same definitely made me giggle!

  2. Polished Hippy | 29th May 20

That scent is exactly the kind I love! As I am aging my hair is thinner and I have to be more careful to get good quality shampoos. This one sounds great.

  3. Erika | 29th May 20

Heh-Heh! I should get a bottle of this for husband. My dirty, garbage, gutter mind drives him batty.

  4. Julie Waldron | 31st May 20

I’ve never heard of this shampoo. I like that it contains great ingredients.

  5. Krystal E | 31st May 20

Hah I love the cheekiness. My husband is one of those who likes to have a shampoo/conditioner/body wash all in one but this may be a way to get him to branch out.

The name gave me a chuckle! I’m impressed by the ingredients list, I think my hubby would really love this. He would likely make a joke every time he used it

Hahaha! I love brands with a sense of humor! The shampoo itself sounds really nice and something that I and my boyfriend would both enjoy.

This type of brand would make a great gift – it’s practical, but has a humorous angle that makes it fun to get as a gift ?
