Cleure – cosmetics you didn’t know about but want to

Don’t you think it would be great if there was a cosmetic line that was free of common irritating ingredients such as fragrance, parabens, formaldehyde and other harsh chemicals? Don’t you think it would be great if that cosmetic line was hypoallergenic and gluten free? And don’t you think it would be great to have that cosmetic line vegan and cruelty free? We are no longer in the dark as to what our cosmetics contain and with so many people having sensitive skin as well as allergies we need this kind of line.

Cleure Hypoallergenic Makeup

CLEURE is that kind of line. Cleure may not be a typical name but once you know the origin of it, it totally makes sense. Just like JLo is Jennifer Lopez, Cleure is Clean Pure! Just like the makeup.

I was sent three products to test and I’ve been using them non-stop since I received them. I’m not typically like that since I love to play around but I wanted a good sense of the cosmetics and I’m loving what I’m using.

CLEURE MINERAL MATTE EYESHADOWS are made for sensitive eyes. Cleure just has matte shadows, in 7 shades. All have “rich, high-pigment, true matte finish with full coverage. Our high-pigment mineral eyeshadow contains a conditioning formula with added vitamin C and E (gluten-free).”

I have this in Purple Clay and it’s the easiest shade to wear. It gets me out of my brown rut and eases me back into purples. But gently. When you see my photos you’ll wonder where the purple is but in reality it’s a beautiful light purple with gray undertones. It’s wearable alone as a subtle shade and it combines well with pinks, darker purples, and grays for a more unique look. And it lasts all day – it never fades, it stays true and lasts from morning to late night when I remove it.

Normally I’d choose Porcelain when ordering online but I decided to try Linen and I’m very glad I did. It’s a light neutral cream shade that’s just a little darker than my skintone. They say this is a medium coverage foundation but the way I apply it makes it a light to medium coverage.

First, it’s a dry feeling when you put it on. It’s not a liquidy liquid, it’s more of a cream finish. If I want it sheered out I’ll use a dampened beauty blender sponge but my preference is to use a foundation brush – either an oval one or a fluffy flat top brush. It applies so smoothly and it lasts. It really lasts. There is no fragrance in any of the Cleure products which is a giant plus for me. This foundation looks really natural on yet covers imperfections well.

Last is my favorite category: cream blush. I’m gaga for cream blush and CLEURE BLUSH STICK is right up there with the best. It’s available in 4 shades and I’d love them all. Not only is this a non-sticky blush but it conditions your skin with Vitamins C & E and Soybean Oil to nourish.

Shade Guide:

  • Adorable – A tangerine shade looks fabulous on warm-toned skin.
  • Luscious – A rich berry shade that brightens your cheeks or lips.
  • Playful – Soft dusty rose that compliments most skin tones.
  • Supernatural – Burnt sienna that is rich and warm in color.

I have this in Playful which is a pink that gives the appearance of fresh healthy cheeks, like you’ve come in from the cold with a happy smile on your face. It’s not the least bit greasy even though it’s definitely creamy. My long hair never gets caught in it. Plus it lasts a good amount of time for a cream blush. I’ve even used it on my lips. It’s not sticky and it gives me a naturally pink lip.

I’m sure by now you know that I really like this blush, foundation, and eyeshadow and am very happy to have them in my life. There’s a cherry on top of this sundae too. CLEURE is a very charitable company. They give back in many ways that you can read about on their site.

Take a moment and think about what you want from cosmetics and you may just realize that you are missing out on a brand that is Clean and Pure and will be excellent for your skin.  —  Marcia

  18. These sound like amazing products! I’m really intrigued by that liquid to powder foundation.

  19. Love the makeup but don’t like how tough the sticker under the lid is to get off! I prefer to take the whole thing off and carefully tap my makeup out rather than poke holes and have the makeup sticking to the sticker. If you could add a little tab on the sticker to make pulling it off a bit easier (like other mineral makeups do), that would be great! When I take a look at this site I see something different .https://skincarehabits.com/best-ultrasonic-facial-skin-scrubbers/

  20. Very much digging that blush stick. Perfect for fall!

  21. Christy Peeples DuBois says:

This line is interesting and there products sound great. I would love to try their foundations to see how they perform on my extremely oily acne prone skin. The pale beige would probably work well for me. I love cream blush also. And those lipsticks and liners I’d have to try as well. So glad you introduced me to this line. I’ve already bookmarked their website.
