Be “On the Glow” with Pixi Beauty

I’m a huge fan of cream blush. I think it’s the best way to get soft pretty colors that look natural on your face. I’m frightened when I see overblushed women~ it can be quite scary to see someone’s cheeks before you see anything else. But with a cream blush I find it’s easy to tone it down if you find yourself in a brighter light.

Another advantage of cream blush comes when wearing a facial mask. I don’t know about anyone else but when I venture out (which is rare) the only cosmetics I’m using are for my eyes and cheeks. No foundation, just balm on my lips, rarely even concealer. So when people see me they are only seeing my eyes and cheeks.

That’s where Pixi Beauty comes in with their new On-the-Glow Blush. These blush sticks are the easiest ever to use and look beautiful on. There’s a glow but it’s not an artificial looking one, it comes from the hydration that On-the-Glow Blush sticks achieve.

At $18 each they are a bargain too since they have 0.6 oz of product. They are available in 3 shades and of course I love all three.

Here’s what makes them unique:

• Ginseng revitalizes & balances
• Aloe Vera soothes & calms
• Fruit Extracts nourish & renew

FLEUR is the pink you’ve been looking for. It looks really bright when you lift the cap but once on you can adjust the vivacity. I love how soft and glowy this soft pink is and that works well with all my eyeshadow choices.

JUICY looks like a bright coral but applies as a soft peach. My picture unfortunately is more orange than the sweet pinky peach it really is. These are called Tinted Moisture Sticks and you can see that as soon as you apply them. Juicy really does look juicy. It’s hard to pick a favorite but this is my most used so far.

ROSE is the darkest of the trio but even this isn’t too dark. It’s beautiful on and works really well on lips. I like a light lip and using a lip brush with Rose I can get a light red popsicle stain. Since these hydrate and condition skin that’s what you will notice.

The packaging is great. The tops click on securely so putting one in your purse or bag isn’t a fear. And clicking it up is fun, you’ll want to do that just to hear the satisfying click at the bottom.

These cruelty free blushes are a wonderful addition to a blush wardrobe. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the shades. They are available at both and at Target. These are perfect for summer and beyond – way way beyond! — Marcia

As someone with rosacea, blush has always scared me but I love how it looks on others! I hadn’t seen this “deodorant” type before but I love that you can easily apply it directly or with a brush this way!
