As more of a full-coverage gal, I did not expect to like the bareMinerals barePRO Performance Wear Powder Foundation ($30). I don’t want to free my face…I want to cover up all the sins of my misspent youth! However, this powder foundation promised a lot: samples
So I gave it a shot. Boy was I surprised…I love this gorgeous light weight foundation!
The powder has a silky smooth texture with a wonderful application. It feels extremely light on my skin and it’s buildable so it covers my major sins without looking fake or caked on. I typically have a problem with foundation wearing off quickly, yet this lasts pretty long for me. Not exactly the promised 12 hours, but I still get a good 6 hours of wear.
There are 30 different shades, which is an incredible range. I tried three shades, all of which work well with my NW23 skin. In fact, I couldn’t even swatch these because the foundation blends so well it just doesn’t show up on camera.
The Core Coverage Brush is just perfect for application.
The angled shape is great for coverage around the nose and chin, and it picks up the perfect amount of product. And it’s just so easy to apply – there is no need to buff or blend, it goes on seamlessly and looks fantastic. It makes my skin look like I have no pores…that’s a Christmas miracle right there.
I am very happy with the barePRO Performance Wear Powder Foundation and am so happy to have found it. Be sure you check it out – I’m betting you will be as happy with it as I am and you will want to #FreetheFace. – Lisa
