A very interesting thing happened when I was ready to write about my experience with vegaLASH Volumizing Mascara. While I’m about to tell you how much I like this mascara and how happy they make my lashes look, I learned that vegaLASH is more than just mascara.
vegaLASH is not just a mascara but it’s also a growth serum for your lashes. It contains a proprietary ingredient which helps naturally curl and lift lashes for an out-to-there effect. Vegamour, the parent company, has a complete line of products for your eyes. I was sent the mascara and went into using it with a little doubt. Could it be as good as the ones I’ve been using? I was about to find out.
From the first day I used this mascara I was impressed with how nice my lashes looked and how long they stayed curled. I had no clumps as it went on smoothly and evenly. Through that day and many more I’ve never had a smudge or seen the mascara dwindle away. My lashes stay perfect from morning until late at night.
As far as removal, I always use a separate eye makeup remover (Mary Kay) but I’ve experimented with just washing it off when washing my face. It removes pretty easily so for those of you who don’t like using something separate, I think you’ll be pleased. I still prefer my eye makeup remover though since it removes everything I’ve used on my eyes and brows.
The brush is a rubber one that has the bristles just wide enough apart to grab each and every lash hair. And the ball tip adds extra volume to the ends of my lashes.
I rarely see special ingredients when looking up a mascara but vegaLASH has some to be aware of that make the mascara different.
Water/Aqua/Eau, Synthetic Beeswax, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Glyceryl Stearate, Polybutene, Palmitic Acid, Acrylates Copolymer, Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Euphorbia Cerifera Cera, Glycerin, Tribehenin, Aminomethyl Propanediol, Phenoxyethanol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Alcohol, PPG-2-Deceth-30, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Trifolium Pratense (Clover) / Vignata Radiata Sprout Extract, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, MAY CONTAIN (+/-) : Iron Oxides (CI 77499).
What I haven’t addressed yet is the growth part. Since I’ve been using lash serums all along I can’t really attest to whether I’ve noticed more growth. But I’ve also given up using City Lash on the days I wear mascara. My lashes are looking better than ever. — Marcia
