A great giveaway for easy curls with The Curlband!

The Curlband

How do you get your curls?  A curling iron?  Hot rollers?  A hair dryer and a round brush?  What if I told you that you could get some pretty amazing curls without any heat styling tools at all?  I know, I know, I didn’t quite believe it either.  But it’s true – The Curlband is a really cool heatless styling tool that gives you anything from loose, beachy waves to tight curls depending on what you want.

The Curlband

The Curlband

Here’s what it looks like out of the bag.  Kind of odd, isn’t it?  You wrap the Curlband around your head, wrapping hair around the bands, then snapping the band into place. No need to heat your hair, although spritzing it with the spray does help. You can sleep with it on, which is what I do – it’s soft enough that it doesn’t disturb your sleep at all – or you can wear it around.  It really looks like a headband or wrap so you can go out and about and people just think you have your hair up.  When you take your hair down, voila – lots of beautiful curls!  The tighter you wrap your hair around the rods, the tighter your curls are in the end.
Here is a Youtube demo of how to use the CurlBand:

It come in three colors – pink, black, and leopard, and it works on every type of hair including extensions.  The Curlband retails for $30 at thecurlband.com.  Mine also came with a neat extra, this head wrap that can be styled in lots of different ways.
I think The Curlband is certainly unique and a very fun way to get big, beautiful curls.  If you have shoulder length or longer hair, you will have lots of fun with this.  It’s a very healthy way to get waves, curls, and body without the damage that heat styling can wreak on hair, especially hair that is already damaged from coloring or bleaching.
GIVEAWAY INFORMATION:  You can win a Curlband for yourself!!  Two lucky readers will win a Curlband and lots of beautiful curls.  This giveaway is open to the continental US only and will be sent by the PR company. The giveaway ends on 3/19 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Best of luck to you!!  – Lisa

As I said, it grows so quickly that sometimes I don’t know what to do with it at all. This would give me an alternative so that I don’t have to go back to cutting it short. I really like it long, but it is so blah. So thank you for the opportunity.

I remember wearing the pink and or orange plastic and foam so many time as a kid. Had to sleep in them and so uncomfortable. Then came hot roller into my life as a teen and curling irons. God Bless no more sleeping in curlers and forget the the ones that had the brush stuff in them that were grey and black and stuck a pin in them. I couldn’t even handle those on my tender head. My older sister tried so hard to get my hair to curl. I would get a home perm and it would be gone the next day. Then I think they changed the formula and made them better and my sis in law out one in and I looked super curly like poodle hair. It was horrible. Lol.
