3D Glimmer with Pixi Lip Icing #PixiPretties

I’m not much of a YouTube watcher – I love reading beauty blogs, but I am realizing that I miss a lot of great stuff by not watching more videos.  I have been catching up by checking out Chloe Morello, an Australian makeup artist and beauty influencer who does fantastic tutorials and product reviews.  Chloe recently teamed up with Pixi Beauty as one of the influencers featured in the #PixiPretties collections, and her Lip Icing is lovely!

While Pixi has other shades of the Lip Icing, the Chloe Morello collection comes in three shades: Sorbet, Bonbon, and Parfait. They are lightly tinted glosses with 3D glimmer to add depth and interest to lips, either on their own or over another shade.  The ingredients include rose hip to smooth and condition lips, and marula oil for nourishing and softening them.

I am in love with the Lip Icings.  The slip is just perfect – it makes my lips feel moisturized without any greasiness or stickiness. They are also long-lasting, giving the wear time of a much stickier lip gloss. All three shades are gorgeous, and while I can’t really get away with using them on their own (I have almost no pigment in my lips and they are pretty thin) the toppers are fabulous over lipstick, especially matte shades.  They have the perfect amount of shimmer and each shade is gorgeous.

The Parfait shade is almost clear – it has a very slight pink tint with lots of shine and bling, thanks to the hot pink 3D glimmer.  It looks beautiful over most shades, but especially warmer ones that lean brown.

The darkest of the three is Bonbon, which has a cherry red tint and tons of silver and pink 3D glimmer.  I can get away with wearing this one on its own, although it is still very light on the lips. Bonbon also looks amazing paired with any blue-based shade.

I love those two shades, but I think my favorite is Sorbet.  It has a very slight light blue tint with baby blue and pink 3D glimmer.  The blue works to make your teeth look whiter, which is a great bonus. Sorbet is lovely over any shade, warm or cool, but I really love it over pink shades.

There are more shades of Lip Icings available from Pixi, and I plan to pick them all up because they have such a great formula and feel so good on my lips.  You can find them online at pixibeauty.com as well as at Target and Kohls.  – Lisa

(moisturized without any greasiness or stickiness) This sounds so good I have not using this style because of stickiness. Nothing like walking outside and the wind blows and your hair sticks to your lips. Going to have to try this
