3 eye enhancements to make your eyes pop more

You know the old saying that your eyes are the windows to your soul – well if you want your soul to look pretty spectacular you need to do all you can to enhance your eyes. There are 3 products that I’m using that are helping me with how my eyes appear. I’ve repeated time and again that my eyes are the feature that I like to play up and the main items I seek out. I’ve been concentrating on improving my lashes and eyebrows and these three are helping.

City Lash by City Beauty, RapidBrow by Rapidlash, and Nanacoco brow mascara gel

CITY LASH is the one I’ve been using the longest and have seen the best results of my trio so far. My natural lashes are normally skimp city so City Lash is changing them into visible fringe that I’m thrilled to be showing the world. I’ve used a lot of lash enhancers and some are better than others. City Lash is better and it’s worse so you’ll have to decide for yourself.

City Lash lash serum

The better: 1) My lashes are longer and stronger. I even have some bottom lashes now that didn’t show before. I have tried several mascaras while using City Lash and all make my lashes look good, better than expected actually. This treatment is designed to minimize lash fall-out, improve lash texture, protect against breakage, and support the natural lash growth process. 2) The serum continues to condition my lashes throughout the night due to ingredients like Biotin, Keratin, Hyaluronic Acid, and Panthenol. 3) City Beauty is a cruelty-free company that doesn’t include GMO, Formaldehyde, Paraben, Alcohol, Phthalate, or Sulfate in their products.

City Lash lash serum applicator

The worse: 1) It’s $70 which is a lot, although a lot less than Latisse. 2) I have burning about 33% of the time. You only apply this on the top lash line but sometimes too much is on the rubber brush and it gets in my eye. I have to sit then, with my eyes closed, and let it settle before I can move on. That part isn’t fun but it’s not a deal killer for me. City Lash works for me which is what counts.

City Lash lash serum

One way I know it’s working is that the lashes on my left eye are fuller than the right. So I used City Lash just on my right eye 3 nights a week and now they are the same.

RAPIDBROW EYEBROW ENHANCING SERUM
RapidBrow® Eyebrow Enhancing Serum is from the company RapidLash so you’ve probably heard of it. It’s available at Ulta, Target, Walmart, Amazon and other stores and sites. I found the best price to be at Walmart so that’s where I ordered it from. My friend Allison from Never Say Die Beauty is the one who alerted me to RapidBrow. She noticed some great changes and I decided that even though nothing else has worked well on my brows that I’d give this a chance.

RapidBrow® Eyebrow Enhancing Serum Ingredient List

I’ve been using this twice a day for the last 4 weeks. I know it’s going to take more time than that but I’m starting to notice more growth. I’m also not losing brow hairs as much as I did before. Hair grows at different rates and we also have times where they stop growing and reset. Patience is important with any lash or brow product. But so far I’m happy with what I’m seeing and can’t wait to see where I’m at in 60 days. Once I get there I’ll continue at least once a day to maintain.

NANACOCO BROWSTYLERS GEL MASCARA

Nanacoco Browstylers Gel

In spite of the misleading “gel mascara” this is a gel product to fill in eyebrows that looks like a mascara.

Nanacoco Browstylers Brow Mascara

This tinted gel formula is available in 4 shades: Blonde, Brunette, Chocolate and Espresso. It works the way a brow mascara would but the difference between Nanacoco Browstylers and others is the thickness of the gel formula. It does a good job of filling in my brows making them look fuller.

Nanacoco Browstylers Brow Mascara in Brunette

Nanacoco Browstylers Brow Mascara is a little tacky at first but dries down to a matte finish that is extremely long wearing. I could easily leave this on for an extra day and my brows would look the same as the first day. There are very small fibers in the formula that help fill in gaps in your eyebrows. I have this in Brunette but I want it in Chocolate now since that would match my hair better.

Nanacoco Browstylers Brow Mascara brush

The most interesting thing about Nanacoco Browstylers Brow Mascara is application. I need fuller brows and their recommendation is to start at the outer edge of the brow and brush across to the inner corner, so you’re going against the hair growth. Once you reach the inner edge, now go back and brush towards the tail, shaping the brows into place. That really works! I love this tip to make my brows look fuller.

City Lash by City Beauty, RapidBrow by Rapidlash, and Nanacoco brow mascara gel

These three products are helping my eyes match what I hope is the beauty of my soul. Give them a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.  —  Marcia

  2. Love hearing about all th lash serum options we have now. My brows could also use a little help.

  3. Kathryne says

When I lost my lashes due to lash extensions, I had to use a similar serum. It took all of 4 months for me to see my lashes back again

  4. I used Babe Lash with great sucess. Then I got lash extensions but became tired of the cost and the time committment for fills, now my lashes are crap! I’ve started using Babe Lash again but I have bald spots! Ugg, lesson learned.

  5. Jen Walker says

I’m glad that City Lash seems to be working so well for you, but I appreciate the warning about the burning! That’s really good to know!

  6. I’ve always wanted to try a lash serum, I’m just always nervous about the price tag! lol

  7. It’s too bad that City Lash burns, I have sensitive eyes– therefore that won’t work for me.

  8. 25 Sweetpeas says

The lash serum sound interesting! I’ve not tried anything like that!

  9. I really need to bookmark this for later – I feel like my eyes look super tired as I get further into this pregnancy and during the summer no less.
