The ‘total package’ – Mally Face Defender BB Cream and Foundation Brush

I love many products from Mally Beauty, but the Face Defender BB Cream Foundation and Foundation Brush combo is definitely my favorite. In fact, just yesterday one of my coworkers asked me which foundation I would recommend for her as she transitions into winter makeup and I said, without any hesitation, Mally Face Defender BB Cream! It does everything from treating to priming to covering and the brush is truly terrific.

A great big 1.8 ounce tube of Face Defender BB Cream Foundation and the foundation brush are available as a set on QVC for $45 you can find it HERE. The tube is large enough to last until spring, especially since you only need a small amount of BB cream for great coverage.

To be perfectly honest, when I use my Face Defender BB Cream Foundation I still use a primer, a concealer, and a setting powder. I can’t help myself…playing with cosmetics is therapy for me. The beauty of Face Defender is that if you aren’t a high maintenance person, or if you have limited time and need the biggest bang for your buck, this BB cream really does do everything. It has antioxidants so it works as a treatment serum/moisturizer. It has an SPF of 15 so it works as sun protection. It’s full coverage enough so most people won’t need a concealer and it doesn’t look heavy or cakey on skin. It has a beautiful, glowy finish that really only needs modest powdering throughout the day for an oily t-zone.

I absolutely adore the Foundation Brush, which gets second billing but is truly a star all on its own. I squeeze a tiny bit of Face Defender right onto the flat side of the brush then buff it on using a circular motion. This brush blends so beautifully that it is a must have for any brush collection.

For this photo I first applied a spritz of Skindinavia Makeup Spray Primer, then I used the Foundation Brush to apply my Face Defender. I also used Mally Dark Circle Corrector (another of my Mally obsessions!), a little face powder, and the Mally Shimmer, Shape, and Glow palette for blush and contour. There have been many days when I just used the Face Defender because I simply didn’t have time for anything else…and with a swipe of lipstick on my lips and cheeks, I certainly had everything I needed to make it through the day.

The Face Defender BB Cream Foundation comes in Fair, Light Medium Light, Medium Tan, Tan, Warm Rich, and Rich. This is my favorite BB cream foundation and I highly recommend a visit to QVC to get this set…it’s the total package.  – Lisa

I love light coverage foundations like this. My fave Mally products are her eyeshadow sticks, but I think I need to try this, too!

  18. Anastasia | 25th Sep 15

That buffing brush looks lovely! I used to apply my foundations with a beautyblender, but these days I tend to gravitate toward stippling motions with a flat brush.

Hi, I hope you are having a Marvelous Monday! I was just wanting to let you know that you look Great & Now I want to try the Mally Total Package! I Love that Foundation Brush, it reminds me of the Bare Minerals Brush that I wanted but it was a little too expensive for me and Mally does have Better Pricing, Plus I Love Pink! I only have one Mally product, the “I Love Color” Eyeshadow Palette and I Truly Love it but it’s More Springy (I think I made that word up) Colors! The foundation really does look Great on you but I think I need to Stick with Fuller Coverage b/c Unfortunately, I have Some Acne Scars! It’s a Shame really b/c I am not trying to sound Vain or anything but I used to have Beautiful, Fair, Porcelain Skin and I Rarely had Zits but then when I got on into Adulthood it was like “Wham!” Acne City! It was a Cruel Joke, I thought I was going to be pretty lucky with my skin but it said “Ha Ha Ha, No Way!” Anyways, you are very lucky to have such Beautiful Skin (Sigh!) Well Thanks for the Post, Have a Blessed Day! Thanks, Jana
