Skin79 BB Balm adds a new dimension to my collection

There are a few things you can count on me reviewing – eyeshadows, eyeliners, nail polishes, and foundation. Those are my favorite products and what I tend to buy the most. Since I’ve been on a BB cream kick this summer I needed to add to my arsenal and buy SKIN79 to see how it compared to my other buys (Missha M Perfect BB Cream and Boscia B.B. cream). One of the things that makes SKIN79 different is that they have a whole line of products including cleansers, scrubs, and a variety of BB creams. Their name for this product is a Beblesh Balm, which I’ve also seen written as Beblemish Balm.

The one I purchased from them is from the VIP Gold Collection and is called Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm, BB Cream VIP Gold Collection. I purchased mine from Amazon (shipped through Seoul Glamour) for only $12.90 plus $4.99 shipping and got it very quickly. I instantly used it and fell in love with this one too.

I’ve already told you what a BB cream does but in short it’s a foundation, primer, moisturizer, skincare treatment and sunscreen rolled into one. Skin79 comes in one shade which is perfect for my very fair skin. I don’t know how it would work on anyone darker than about a MAC 25 though. At first when I apply this I notice a slight gray tone to the color. I’ve read that from other people but never experienced it with the two other BB Creams I have. Within seconds though the color becomes one with my skin giving me an even skintone. I love the lightweight feel and how well it lasts throughout the day. If I have a hot flash I don’t later find foundation on my shirt since this doesn’t melt like foundation does on me.

SKIN79 Super Beblesh Balm has an SPF of 25PA++ (explanation of on my Boscia review).  It contains whitening properties which are important in the Asian market more so than in other countries. It also states that it has “wrinkle improvement” so it’s got skincare properties to it.

I love the packaging on this. The gold jar has a pump and I get just enough to do my face. It’s sensitive enough to the touch to allow me to pump out the amount I need. I’m finding myself using this almost daily. I’m experimenting with my true foundations but I probably won’t go back to those full time until the weather turns cool. At this price and this quality Skin79 Super BB Balm comes highly recommended. — Marcia

  1. I really want to start playing with BB Creams.

This price seems awfully low… I’ve heard that you have to be really careful with unauthorized retailers, because they can end up doing damage to your skin. I recommend getting BB Creams off of sasa.com or prettyandcute.com etc. If you see one for a lot cheaper than they sell on these sites, there’s a good chance it’s a fake!

I hope yours is authentic. If it is, you got a great deal.

  2. Hi there,
I found this of great interest. I’ve just reviewed a BB balm from Garnier in the UK on my blog also very cheap and effective. Perhaps another to trial for you!

  3. Since it’s Amazon that I bought it from I’m sure it’s legit. I found the same one on the Skin79 website. I did look at ebay first but didn’t have the same sense of trust as I did with Amazon.

  4. My biggest problem with Garnier is the scent of most of their products is too strong for me.

  5. Anyone can sell on Amazon – don’t trust it just because it’s on Amazon – just sayin! :)

  6. I have used this exact BB balm for about 3 months, I love it to death. I swatched every single one Sephora sells and NONE of them compare! I think I have seen a reduction in fine lines too!

  7. Do you happen to know if this contains silicones? I have been wanting to try BB creams for a while now, but they usually seem to have silicones in them somewhere towards the top of the ingredients list. Thanks.

  8. I think it does have some. The first few ingredients are water, propylene glycol, cyclomethicone, dimethicone, titanium oxide.

  9. Hi, I know you wrote this article a long time ago, but I’m really curious about something. I bought the same BB cream from the same seller on Amazon that you bought it from about a month ago. The whole thing seems really authentic, but on my BB cream, the letters “BB” have started to faded and rubbed off. I was wondering if the same thing happened to yours. I really scared that I might have gotten a fake BB cream. Please reply, thank you!

  10. Hi Jenny, I just checked my container and the writing is fine. I’d be surprised if the seller switched from real to counterfeit personally but I don’t know. Is there a way you can contact the seller via Amazon? I have lots of products, including MAC that I bought at the MAC store, that the lettering has rubbed off so unless it was something I bought on eBay I personally wouldn’t worry.
